Looking for a list of companies that make are American and make diesel engines between 30 to 60 horsepower.

Caterpillar
Cummins
Detroit (though can you really consider them American anymore?)
John Deere
Universal (marine diesel; Westerbeke)

Well here is the general graph I found in the magazine. I thought it was informative. They also had a tid bits about each company listed.

Most of the engine companies have parent companies in other countries. So it's really hard to say if it is made here or not. I think a few here are 100% USA.
