Five guys is the most expensive, overrated burger joint I've ever been too. What's all the hype about?

Five Guys is good eatin'. I also like their variety of toppings--I usually get sauteed onions, pickles, and A1 sauce. The fries are fantastic and the burgers are quite good. If I had to pick an absolute favorite fast-food style burger joint, I think Char-Grill might still win, but Five Guys would definitely take 2nd.

I had a burger at Five Guys yesterday.

Sadly, all burgers have been a bit disappointing since Burger Joint at le Parker Meridien in NYC a few weeks ago.

yeah the fries are polarizing

people seem to think they're either awesome or pretty bad

the fact they give you ten pounds of fries doesnt hurt though

That's an awesome burger. It's been voted the best in the state by a few sources.

Burger Joint is friggin awesomer though. Just my $0.02.

greg hatem's folks make a good burger, but they run a better PR department

PR
burger hut
cameron bar & grill (although this might've been dumb luck)

the burger at poole's is not a traditional burger but it is awesome

I drove all the way out to Abbey Road and wasn't impressed.
PR is quality.
No clue where Burger Hut is.
Cameron Bar & Grill has a consistently good burger, though I don't think it's better than the Times.

And yeah, the royale at Poole's is pretty dope.

burger hut on morgan is good (better than five guys for sure) but only hipsters and old men put it on their list of best burgers

[Edited on July 11, 2010 at 4:52 PM. Reason : especially hipsters that have never been there]
