it's going to take a while to figure out my all time favorite, but Grizzly Bear's "Veckatimest" sure is doing the trick right now

I'm on his level too, but I would go with The Greatest instead of Moon Pix

and I would leave Five String Serenade on repeat...that song just sounds like rain to me (helps that she mentions rain in the lyrics)

^^ that polly jean record is pretty upbeat but it's got a lot of drone strings on it

the guitars sound like water

^ its really weird that you posted that because like 45 minutes ago i was randomly thinking about the juliana theory (and i'm pretty positive i have not thought about that band in years). i can't remember why they came to mind though

surf's up is another good beach boys one

but only if you flip it over after the third song on side 1

because the rest of side 1 is the worst shit in the history of music

every time I listen to that PJH album, I'm really into the first 6 or so tracks, and then I stick "this mess we're in" on repeat about 5 times.

omf. I have no idea how I forgot Sea Change.

that album was HUGE in my life during a pretty tough time. I'd say about 15% of my heart is devoted to permanent storage for Sea Change.
