I'll admit, I don't mind it every so often, especially if it's a witty or intelligent simile, but you're right. It is way overused, and sometimes they just revert to an entire verse of that shit, and it gets old... I know Ludacris used to do it a lot, and some other relatively popular folks. I like it when there's some deeper shit than the same thing over and over again.
