How is this possible?During boot, RAID controller flashes all 4 drives and volume are A-OK and volume size is 965-is GB...Some background: One drive failed the other day and I used the computer degraded for about 5 days. It has finished rebuilding, but then I noticed the size discrepancy. I clicked verify thinking that may help. It did not auto verify. Not sure if it will have any effect.[Edited on May 26, 2010 at 10:45 PM. Reason : details]

If it makes a difference xp64 never recognized my firewire array. Despite it being 4TB in size it only shows 1.something

it's a hardware raid on a ICH10R controller

go into disk management. see if you have unallocated space

UGG that was it! Somehow I have exactly 1/2 my volume allocated. Is there any easy way to convert the current partition to the full volume size without backing everything up and reinstalling windows?

if you mkae it a dynamic volume or whatever, you should be able to extend it.

right click on it then like choose expand volume

You can't use disk manager to extent the boot volume, but I was able to get GParted and use that to extend the volume. Everything is great now! Thanks everyone AntecK7![Edited on May 28, 2010 at 6:58 PM. Reason : anteck7 was actually the only helpful info!]
