I live near the Jones Franklin/Athens intersection. I'll be around this afternoon and some tomorrow earlier in the day. If you have this afternoon available to come pick something up, I should be around before ~6.Note on the posters, they have been rolled up in storage. I hate that, as I hate when posters are rolled up, but laying them out and flattening them with something should be possible. If anyone wants any pictures of anything they're interested in, let me know and I'll post it. -------------------------------------------------------------I also have for sale a wood finish swivel TV stand, includes a free, old TV. It's old, but it works! - $10Few small scratches on the top that will be covered by the TV.[Edited on May 14, 2010 at 9:32 AM. Reason : add]

Here's what I know about the violin (which admittedly isn't much). I bought the violin for MrsCake for, I think around $150. I get the impression it's probably a starter instrument for those wanting to learn, as I know the really high quality ones go up in price from that. It's a Grand, silver electric violin, painted and clear coated wood. The electronics run off a 9V battery, and the violin has both a 1/4 inch jack as well as the 1/8th inch jack so you can practice with headphones. The case and all the stuff here is included (except I'm not 100% on the tune, let me check with her on that). The headphones and everything else, strings, bow, rosin, all included. It's currently missing a string, but there may already be a replacement in that package, I'm not sure.I liked this one a little more than all the funky shaped ones I saw on ebay when trying to price this thing. Let me know what you think or if you have any other questions I can relay to the wife that she may be able to answer. We honestly don't know that much more than what's posted here though.

5/18/2010 9:42:12 AM
can she teach me how to play like miri ben ari?
5/18/2010 4:46:58 PM
Haha, unfortunately no. Part of the reason we're selling it. I bought it as a gift so she could learn, but she never took lessons, or really got into it.
5/18/2010 5:07:27 PM
Can you give me an idea of what kind of stuff is in your record collection?
5/18/2010 10:12:21 PM
It's pretty damn eclectic. I got some old comedy (Steve Martin/George Carlin), 60's and 70's stuff of a lot of different varieties. Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Santana, Turtles, Fleetwood Mac, a variety of soundtracks, some classical and choral stuff. There's a good number of popular albums mixed in with some stuff I've never heard of. There's also some newer albums, stuff from the last ten years, and a decent number of hip hop singles and stuff I picked up from this one guy. I'd say there's probably a little more 60's and 70's rock and "pop" (popular singer/songwriter stuff).
5/18/2010 10:23:33 PM
I would hit up your LP collection but I won't be back in Raleigh til August. So, yea....how's that violin pricing coming?
5/18/2010 10:47:21 PM
Gonna give it some time, see what happens outside of Tdub. I'd rather not let it go for less than $80, but if it comes to that then it does. MrsCake would feel better getting more for it considering what was put into it. As would I (and I guess that is a pretty obvious statement).
5/19/2010 9:00:31 AM
$70 on the violin.
5/19/2010 1:50:38 PM
you gonna be around anytime today for someone to come check out the LP collection?
5/19/2010 2:44:34 PM
his LP collection is quite eclectic.......I had the opportunity to pillage through it.......from old movie soundtracks to classical to new wave to hiphop/rap to classic rock....and anything in betweeni bought some...they make for good wall decor

Ayyooooo...So I sold the violin and got rid of the bb gun, and been selling some records, but I still have a fair bit more. I still have the TV stand and TV, lava lamp, and other stuff.I also have a strobe light for $5 if anyone is interested!Anyone wanna buy a really decent pair of size 15 work/hiking/outdoor boots? We can talk about the price, but I'm not looking to get much from them.
5/23/2010 4:13:48 PM
bttt...Still have a good number of LP's. Everything else that wasn't free is now $5 less (if it was $5, it's free). I know I got some PM's about the spot scrubber and other stuff. Let me know. I may throw some of this stuff on CL, too. Just figured some of you guys may want them.
5/27/2010 4:39:41 PM

6/8/2010 4:30:39 PM
Nah, sorry. I gave that to my bro in law. I'm getting seriously close to just taking all this junk to goodwill. If anyone wants to come pick up any of the stuff below, it's free.SNES games/PS1 gameRandom Phone ChargersCordless phoneReplica BannerPS2Laundry BagPostersI still have a good number of LP's. Probably 150 or so. Anyone know if used book stores buy these, like the one on Hillsborough, or Ed McKay's? I may try to sell some of the other random stuff on Craigslist, like the comforter set, etc. I also have two racquetball racquets ($10 each), and a "better than low end but not high end" tennis racquet ($20). All in good shape with covers. I'll likely not be playing these sports for a while and will just buy new stuff if I ever get into it again.
6/8/2010 5:40:22 PM
I'll take the SNES and PS1 games
6/8/2010 10:09:46 PM
