Evidently he tested positive for hCG (a non-steroidal substance produced naturally by the body) (slightly elevated levels). Last I heard the NFL wanted to strip him of the Defensive Rookie of Year award and do a revote. Has that ever happened? They let S. Merriman keep his award after he tested Positive for a Band substance.

That is incorrect according to what I read. The AP gives the award and they want to do a revote.

I know someone that played football for a Pac-10 school, oh probably 15 years or so ago that took steroids on orders from the staff.
