nevermind:Problem:Chat doesn't work in Vista when I'm using a Mac.Solution:The problem for Mac users lies in the version of Java that is being used. Youcan "roll back" to a previous version of Java that does work, here'show:1. Open the Finder.2. Go to the "Applications" folder.3. Navigate to Utilities > Java > J2SE 5.0.4. Open Java Preferences.5. Under the General tab, choose the radio button for "J2SE 1.4.2."6. Click "Save."That should fix the problem. You may still need to close all of your browserwindows and then re-open them before changes will finish taking effect. Afterthat, if you still have trouble, contact the LearnTech help desk at:

Because it's a SYSTEM, and everyone knows from movies that SYSTEMS must be in all caps. Remember WOPR?

I thought, "what is wrong with the NCSU Windows Vista machines that a user would care about it's MAC address?"Misleading topic.
