I'd rather build my own than pay that price for one

I'd rather buy one that some dude like H8r built for 1/7th the cost than pay that price for one.

I'm at my company's annual User's Conference in San Francisco, and apparently one of our customers is using our software (a time-series database server) for a data logger system for use in premium cars. Their demo car was in our welcome reception tonight, and it was one of these Iconic roadsters without the body. Pretty sweet! They were replaying a lap around a track on all the gauges. I'm not sure if their demo vehicle was a full vehicle with the body shell removed or just a mock-up rolling chassis with a fake engine, but cool to see regardless.(I'd still prefer a nicely built Factory Five Cobra given the relative cost, but I definitely wouldn't kick this out of the garage )
