Up for sale again. Ratty cafe CB500. Runs great. Has some aesthetic issues, but if you care you're a pussy. Buy this bike. 750 OBOAlso. I rebuilt a set of rims for it that are pictured below. It took considerable time to clear off all the rust off/paint/lace (and relace) those rims. Never want to do again. If you buy the bike we can work something out for the rims.PM if you're interested.http://www.flickr.com/photos/49397353@N06/4526158493/http://www.flickr.com/photos/49397353@N06/4526158573/in/photostream/http://www.flickr.com/photos/49397353@N06/4526789888/in/photostream/New Parts:Carbs rebuiltTiresVoltage Reg.RectifierStator and field coil (replaced with working parts)SeatClubman BarsMaster cylinderFront brake padsHeadlightDrive chainCoilsSpark plugsBatterySpeedo cableNew ignition pointsPodsValves adjustedReplaced shifter sealAll controls now work (horn, blinkers, electric start etc)The bad:Needs petcock (leaks a little gas)A little rustyRear brake disconnected (bolt stripped in drum lever)Gas tank is beat to shit, but holds gasHad to do some rewiring so the wiring isn't the prettiest to look at (zipties/electrical tape)[Edited on April 16, 2010 at 5:05 PM.
