could the Apple-iphone-ipad cock fit any deeper into their mouth?
4/9/2010 1:45:53 PM
given the size of the ipad, i can only assume it's gonna get bigger...
4/9/2010 1:47:48 PM
[yes]
4/9/2010 1:52:15 PM
The only decent tech news site is the register. All others are terrible, especially engadget and gizmodo.
4/9/2010 1:58:29 PM
The funny thing is, Engadget's active user base couldn't be more anti-apple lol...(based on the comments)I've also come to find that any comment that isn't displayed by default because its buried via vote downs...99% of the time its a positive comment towards Apple or an Apple product lol.
4/9/2010 2:19:12 PM
i like their coverage and i'm not an apple fan boy by any means
4/9/2010 2:22:56 PM
i own both devices listed in OP and i frequently read engadget
4/9/2010 2:26:47 PM
I also don't see what the fuss is about, there are plenty of non-apple related articles. I've gotten all my information on other tablet like devices from engadget, every day there is at least 1 or 2 devices popping up that they write about.
4/9/2010 2:36:00 PM
i like ars technica[Edited on April 9, 2010 at 4:12 PM. Reason : but yeah, i don't read engadget any more]
4/9/2010 4:12:41 PM
i like how the title has the dot-com on it as if engadget exists outside the weblike as a print magazine or some shitand like it's 1996
4/9/2010 4:20:03 PM
here is a *cookie*.

Ugh, thank you! I've about had it with these websites lately. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Apple but for the love of all that's unholy, SHUT THE @$!% UP ABOUT THE DAMN IPAD/PHONE/WHATEVER!Ever since the iPad release it's been non-stop! There's other shit going on in the tech world you dumb asses. Engadget, Ars, Gizmodo, Lifehacker, they're all full of Apple-loving shit lately.
4/9/2010 4:54:26 PM
To be fair the release of the iPad and the release of the iPhone OS4 beta covers a crapton of stuff in a small amount of time. Is it really that surprising?
4/9/2010 5:00:02 PM
Engadget and Gizmodo are both insufferable.
4/10/2010 12:12:59 AM

Seriously. We only want to read about google and Microsoft products.
4/10/2010 12:31:18 AM
4/10/2010 12:44:53 AM
holy fuck, they report gadget news. just because you don't want to read about the iWhatever it doesn't mean it's not newsworthy. vote with your mouse-clicks to other sites, not passive-aggressive bitching on tww.
4/10/2010 12:47:32 AM
^^biased to what? Lol everything I've read has been more or less positive not just apple. Oh except the JooJoo. They ripped that thing a new asshole. I wonder if that's why everyone is so butt hurt[Edited on April 10, 2010 at 12:53 AM. Reason : .]
4/10/2010 12:53:16 AM
4/10/2010 1:01:18 AM
^whats biased about either article?
4/10/2010 1:08:23 AM
please, god, please let this turn into a gadget geek's fox news vs. msnbc vs. cnn debate. please.
4/10/2010 1:11:07 AM
You mean that websites that try to make money might tailor their articles to what people want?!???
4/10/2010 1:19:21 AM
^,^^For real. Seriously guys, you know a blog (especially a tech news blog site) is just a bunch of guys who decided to write about something they like, they think is popular, or is controversial, right? They're worse than the Mainstream Media in their attempt to garner attention, don't act surprised.
4/10/2010 5:13:05 AM
If you don't like it, don't read it. They wouldn't cover it as much if it didn't make money. Ars itself said that 30% of their users are Apple users and that their Apple articles get the most viewers. Nevermind that Apple sets the trends for the entire fucking industry...Honestly, what the fuck are they supposed to do? Not do the thing that is the most profitable?
4/10/2010 9:19:59 AM
When the iPad was released, the 4 top articles in Sci/Tech on Google News were about the iPad. Those are what people were clicking on, for Google to put them there.Don't blame the iPad hype on the sites, blame it on people.
4/10/2010 1:49:35 PM
4/10/2010 1:56:01 PM
geez lock this already
4/10/2010 8:29:30 PM
6 articles on the main page right now talking about iphone/ipad shit.
4/12/2010 1:28:31 PM
^home page of what? Because Engadget has maybe 2 or 3 iPad related articles on the home page and one of those is a iPad vs. Dell article.
4/12/2010 1:46:52 PM
^^ the timeliness of the news does not suit you? cry more.
4/12/2010 5:39:54 PM
what i'm sick of is major blogs using terrible catch-all titles leaning farther and farther towards sensational blogging so they can get more hits.PLEASE STOP using words like "game-changer"
4/12/2010 6:25:59 PM
More like techWhine Talk.
4/12/2010 6:29:49 PM
^^ THAT is something I can agree with. Let the marketplace decide what's changing the game.
4/12/2010 6:31:14 PM
also for the record, I've had epic flames of editors on both Giz and Engadget, but at least Engadget is respectful enough to not ban any dissenting opinions. If I ever met Jesus Diaz from Gizmodo, I'd probably punch him in his fucking face.
