Fox News didn't make that up, that question has already been dodged by Nancy Pelosi: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUkzV8h3Wp0[Edited on April 6, 2010 at 5:26 PM. Reason : .]

^^ yeah, i’m aware of Coburn’s positions. But it looks like maybe they are trying to lead themselves, instead of letting Fox (and thus the tea-baggers) lead them.

Alright. So the bill goes into effect. I refuse to buy health insurance. Then I refuse to pay the fine. What happens? I don't give a fuck what the intention is. I want to know what is actually going to happen. Are they just going to say, "Oh, well...that's cool I guess. You don't have to pay the fine." If that's the case, then no one is going to pay the fine. Prison is going to be the punishment if you resist this bullshit long enough.Seriously man, I'm trying as hard as I can to be reasonable. I'm not a Fox news Republican. I don't see how you can justify this shit, though.

RomneyCare has already been piloted in his state. Has there been a lot of imprisonment there with his individual mandate?

^^have you never heard of paycheck garnishing or liens on personal property?i'm certainly not saying that people won't end up in jail for not paying their taxes correctly. but if you notice the senator carefully chose his words in such a way that he didn't deny it could happen also"The intention is not to put anybody in jail"

"RomneyCare" is just as retarded as what we're about to get a federal level, and I certainly don't support it. In any case, this is how it works there:

so naive and so angry

I'm not naive, but I am angry. If you aren't angry about our current system, you're delusional.

^sucks if you dont have employer provided health insurance, anybody below like 35 their insurance premiums will go up about 75% since they premiums of older people cannot be more than 3 times (I think) that of young people. So, to get around that, get ready for your health insurance (if you have to buy it yourself) to go sky high to pay for grandparents health insurance. This is just spreading the wealth.....[Edited on April 7, 2010 at 5:35 PM. Reason : w]
