I know there are many variations to the housing threads, but hear me out. I'm in outside sales...Long story short: Preiss Company makes dick move. Roommate and I are forced to find a new place to live starting in July. We would like to rent a 2 br. townhouse. Buying a house is out of the question as we are both planning on moving out of the area in 1-2 years. Price range: 0 to ~950. Max 15 min. commute to State.Townhouse is preferred, though the right apartment is ok.Thanks in advance

In regards to Falcon Ridge, are there any visitor parking spots? Anyone have any good/bad experiences with Falcon Ridge or Hunter's Creek?

http://www.sumtersquareapartments.com/I liked the place, I had a two bedroom townhouse apartment there, it was like halfway between the Harris Teeter on Western & Crossroads in Cary, so it was close enough to campus & for shopping/movies & grocery runs. And most importantly, it is very close to the new Sonic. Google maps puts it at a 9 min drive from State and it is within your specified price range. How is Preiss still in business anyways? I've heard nothing but horror stories for as long as I've been around Raleigh.

i lived in falcon ridge for a yearit depends on what part. in our part there were some visitor spots and then we had like 4 spots that came with the town home (4bdrm)you could also park on the street (visitors) but i don't remember the hours.oh and i liked living there. good location. right by the wolfline.i think your experience will vary largely on your landlord. if someone w/ the last name of Schoaf (like Loaf) is your landlord, never rent from them.[Edited on April 5, 2010 at 1:38 AM.
