I've been trying to get people to wear shirts like this to games since his daughter went Rambo and bitched at me. I would love to get a legitimate Fire Fowler shirt.

3/30/2010 7:48:04 PM
God, that lunatic fringe shirt makes me want to puke
3/30/2010 7:52:49 PM
I have been mulling over the idea of selling them at the spring game. Dont know if thats legal or what not. But if there is a standard design that you guys like I can probably save if on a certain site and it can be recreated by anyone who wants to order one.[Edited on March 30, 2010 at 8:02 PM. After his daughter came up to me at the MD basketball game me and some friends thought about trying to make some and sell them at the spring game and during football season if he makes it through the summer, but realized it would probably not work out too well legally if they were ever to bring that up. the fire Lee Fowler shirt is stupid, most of the country wont even know who he is and will have no idea why you have Jed Clampett on there
3/30/2010 8:23:06 PM
i don't think the message is intended for most of the country but it's in poor taste, imo
3/30/2010 8:26:26 PM
After he gets fired the shirt becomes and instant classic and triples in value! Also, all you have to do is misspell his nameThere cant be any legal action you could take I would think. Its the same as protesting with a sign that said the same thing.
3/30/2010 8:27:20 PM
holy shit fenway, can you even make a post anymore without mentioning the dude's daughter?fuck dude, it's time to move on
3/30/2010 8:29:19 PM
just dont put anything trademarked on iti e - S happensif you guys do this, im willing to wear one, but im not gonna pay for it]
3/30/2010 8:30:32 PM
What I make it so that it can be just another red shirt and not glaringly obvious its a lee fowler related
3/30/2010 8:35:10 PM
Lunatic Fringe on the front.FLF = Fire Lee Fowler, on the back. Can make it like those stickers on the car.ooooorrrrr any other ideas.
3/30/2010 8:39:28 PM
I'm sure CBS would absolutely love those Jed Clampett shirts
3/30/2010 8:41:51 PM
3/30/2010 8:43:39 PM
^^ true.I am thinking text is really the only way to go.My only question is to just balls out say fire lee fowler or not,
3/30/2010 8:48:27 PM
3/30/2010 8:51:09 PM
someone please convince him it's a stupid idea...if he wants to be obnoxious, fine, spend $6-7 at a craft store and buy iron-on transfers...spreadshirt wants $18.40 and uberprints requires a minimum of 12 shirtsnot to mention the whole "it's rude" factor! you're going to a spring game to SUPPORT your team and you show up wearing crap like this... ugh/rantbut seriously, someone make him stop
3/30/2010 9:04:26 PM
OH LAWD!
3/30/2010 9:50:43 PM
this reminds me of the throw a penalty flag at chuck idea
3/30/2010 10:09:17 PM
our spring game isn't televised, is it?
3/30/2010 10:12:23 PM

I would embrace the N&O people if they helped get rid of fowler.
3/31/2010 7:19:11 AM
OH SNAP! Called the fuck out by his lady! SHITGOTREALFtr. As much as I want Fowler fired. This is a turrrible idea.
3/31/2010 7:35:18 AM
Bringing up the Fowler issues at games is just a terrible idea in general. If the players see or hear chants or anything like that how do you think they'll feel? They'll think we've lost hope in them and their coach, and because Lee is at the helm, that ultimately played a role in players being here at state. The only thing we need to show at the games is support.
3/31/2010 7:53:54 AM
instead of throwing yellow flags at TOB, throw timeouts at him...ZING!"Hey, Tom! Remember, these don't carry over from half-to-half! If your team has a 1st & 10 at the 50 yard line, with 1 minute left in the first half, and you have all your timeouts left, you're supposed to use some of those timeouts."

3/31/2010 9:06:40 AM
this is so bad man, i'm sorry.
3/31/2010 9:15:16 AM
this is a terrible idea. i want fowler gone as much as the next guy, but making these for a game is a terrible idea. you are a terrible fan if you wear these.also, the designs all suck
3/31/2010 9:16:03 AM

3/31/2010 12:30:24 PM
while I agree that this is a stupid idea, I will answer this
3/31/2010 1:03:25 PM
i could probably vectorize this into a t-shirt, if i was sure he was going to play[Edited on March 31, 2010 at 1:16 PM. Reason : it would unfortunately not be animated on a t-shirt]
3/31/2010 1:15:53 PM
No one is buying a shirt that says "Fire Lee Fowler" on it. So if you get one, prepare to be the only retard wearing it.
3/31/2010 1:49:28 PM
I want this on a shirt:
3/31/2010 2:49:20 PM
i'll wear a FLF shirt in a bout 2 years when we're fresh off a BCS bowl game and an NCAA Final Four
3/31/2010 3:04:22 PM
The intelligence of those involved in this proposal is demonstrated by the fact that they don't know whether or not it would be legal.Other than using the copyrighted image of Jed Clampett, why would it be illegal? Because it's mean? ]
3/31/2010 3:34:03 PM
^I think the issue all was the Jed Clampett image and whether you could even sell them on the C-F area grounds. Or any image of Fowler that had been taken and copyrighted by the N and O or something. Using them for the spring game may not be the best idea since we're supposed to be all supportive of the team and everything and also since the main focus of the game other than the team is the donations for the Kay Yow foundation, but if we pull something this year like that Duke game last year then I'm pretty sure a lot more people would be in support of this.
3/31/2010 3:52:19 PM
^b/c technically, you'd need a permit. i think. those guys who sell hot dogs on the street outside of bars have to have a permit too, right?
3/31/2010 3:53:41 PM
3/31/2010 4:13:00 PM
I actually tend to discount anything a hot girl tells me, but this one is on to something.
3/31/2010 4:46:29 PM
I saw boy scouts get kicked out of the fairgrounds for trying to sell popcorn at tailgate. Cop was pretty nice about it but said they needed a permit.so im pretty sure they won't let selling them fly.
3/31/2010 4:57:26 PM
I'm thinking about putting this graphic on a tshirt:
