So I need a basic science elective (with a lab). Any suggestions on what to take that's good/easy?

MEA 130 with the lab 135. one of the easiest science classes i have ever taken.

BO 200I used to TA that class and the vast majority of students were non-science majors, the class isn't that difficult (though not as easy as rocks for jocks), and Dr. Jordan is very nice as well

Geo may be easier, buy astronomy is interesting and fun as shit.

Astronomy with Astronomy Lab was interesting. Obviously the lab portion, looking at the stars when its dark out, means the lab is in the evening. But seeing the rings of Saturn and learning constellations is not a bad way to spend your time in a lab class. I believe astronomy is listed as a low level physics course.

don't you have to go off campus?

Yeah, I think we took a van or small bus together as a class to some field area, I think on the edge of the Carl Alwin Schneck Memorial Forest or somewhere there abouts. I just remember seeing the entrance to NC Museum of Art on the way there. So you don't have to worry about providing your own transportation, and you get a really nice view of the sky without much light pollution, or having to travel very far.

i did all the different General Sciences just for fun. for the general non-science major who wants a real taste of the beauty and meaning of science, I recommend Astronomy. For actual non-science enjoyment and easiness, I recommend Geology. (field trips!!!) If you have any interest in animals or nature, Bio from the skin out (often called Bio2 or environmental biology) will really be meaningful to you. If you into cars or like to work on your house, I recommend a Physics for non-science majors class. It's alot easier than it sounds but still hardest one. Avoid classes meant for nursing students, they actually kind of hard while still being full of idiots.
