Is Pipers in the Park in the shopping center at the intersection of Miami and Alexander? Where the Sheetz is?q
3/26/2010 9:42:01 AM
yes. It's a few doors down from Dannys BBQ. Best Pimiento Cheese sammich ever.[Edited on March 26, 2010 at 9:48 AM. Reason : s]

There used to be a decent sushi buffet over by Danny's BBQ. I forget the name.
3/26/2010 10:14:42 AM
Is 9N9 still around? I used to eat the shit out of that place.
3/26/2010 10:15:17 AM
Thai Lanna (Thai, obviously)Cafe Curryleaves (South Indian & Chaat!)Saffron (Indian Buffet)Two Guys (sandwiches and killer sweet potato fries)
3/26/2010 10:19:25 AM
Two guys is awesome.
3/26/2010 10:21:51 AM
That is most definitely false.
3/26/2010 10:22:17 AM
Froshkiller doesn't like Two Guys unless its Two guys at the same time

3/26/2010 10:25:19 AM
Awesome thanks guys. I eat at 9n9 at least once a week...love it. Dannys BBQ is definitely good as well. I think I might try Piper's today.

Sheetz
3/26/2010 12:28:18 PM
Sheetz and Serena's. The Sheetz chicken tenders are actually pretty great. And, for the price range ($8-12), Serena's has the highest quality, freshest food I've ever had. And service is crazy fast considering the meals you can get.
3/26/2010 1:50:11 PM
yes I like Serena's alot...the food is good but the service is a little slow. Ended up going to Williams kitchen....great food. Thanks whoever suggested that.
3/26/2010 2:25:24 PM
Sheetz is where the tourists go. All the locals hit that Shell station a half mile up the road for the Ball Park hotdogs with all the fixings. How was Piper's wahoowa?[Edited on March 26, 2010 at 4:17 PM. Reason : l]

I was just going to suggest Mez. Great Mexican, more upscale and innovative than your usual El Rodeo-type mexican joint.Have any of y'all been to Spice & Curry? Near the corner of 54 & 55, seems like it could be good for Indian (which I am no expert on but would like to try more of)[Edited on March 27, 2010 at 2:45 AM. Reason : e]

There are no restaurants in the RTP area at all, don't ask about them.
3/27/2010 4:17:54 AM
I just discovered all the restaurants at 54 and 55 when I went to Williams Gourmet Kitchen yesterday. That Korean BBQ looks very intriguing...I love good Korean food. Anyone tried it?
3/27/2010 9:30:35 AM
I mean if you like eating dog.

3/27/2010 12:30:46 PM
i eat at the following places regularly:manchester's (on TW in the food lion center near 70)kemp's seafooddanny's bbqpiperswilliam's gourmet kitchenpapa mojo's (near 54/55)
3/27/2010 12:33:48 PM
Haven't been to William's Gourmet Kitchen or Danny's BBQ yet, I'll have to go soon. The Chinese Buffet place in that same area beside BigLots is really good too (and cheap).Spice & Curry is good, but it's a bit expensive I thought. One of my co-workers moved here from India a few years ago and was satisfied with it. The Korean BBQ place was pretty good too I thought. Now that I work in the area, I'm also interested in places nearby.
3/27/2010 1:34:15 PM
^^^^ oooooooh i love japanese curry. I will definitely be checking that place out. Thanks! ^ good to hear about the Korean BBQ..im going to try it next week if I can find a coworker who will eat something that isnt deep-fried, breaded, and comes from chicken. so many recommendations in this thread I should be good for a few months haha. By the way I work near Slater and Miami if anyone wants to meet up for lunch sometime.[Edited on March 27, 2010 at 1:49 PM. Reason : a]

Sheetz and Serena's.That sushi buffet place in the shopping center with pipers is awesome, too. I get sushi to-go all the time (work right near there) and it's SUPER cheap because they charge by weight.
