I have this Duke basketball signed by Coach K and his entire staff from the '01 championship team. I tried selling it on Ebay, but no one bid on it. Anyone know where in the RDU area I can take this thing and sell it?

what did you set the starting price at? did you include pictures? pretty hard to believe no one would bid on a signed jersey on ebay

that's because it was basketball, not a jersey.

that's because it was a bowl of grits, not a basketball

^^ I'll pay you $20 to set it on fire and post the video on the youtubes.

I would almost take that - it was a bequeath to me back in 1993 before i knew better. Now it sits in a dark corner and my folks house

Selling autographs on eBay is tough without a COA.Shit, selling autographs ANYWHERE and expecting to get a decent amount for them is tough without a COA.

just send coach k a request for a handwritten letter of authentication. im sure he has nothing better to do.

Are you located in the triangle. If not, good luck, people are going to want to see it before buying. You could try a card shop or some place that sells collectibles, but they will most likely low ball you. Your best bet would probably be to find some Duke centered message boards; Rivals, Scout ?, etc; and see if you could find someone on there. Best of luck.

I've been wondering this too. I have a NC State hat autographed by David Thompson that I was thinking about selling.

Yeah I live in the Triangle. I was hoping to take it to a place that could authenticate it and buy it. I got it from some Cub Scout popcorn thing like 9 years ago and never got around to try and sell it. I posted pics on Ebay, but I figured that anything w/o a certificate of authenticity would be tough.

Not worth it to sell without certificate. Just throw into Mount Doom.

Considering that a COA mean fuck all, just print up your own.

I too will throw in $5you could turn it into a fund raiser like when they charge you $1 to hit the carolina blue colored car with a baseball bat. enough people chipping in could add up.
