So the GF is looking for a new car.

has to be new or nearly new under 30k.

So far she likes the mini cooper, but she may need to carry professionals around for work, and I dont know if its practical.

Any ideas?

She she does not care about power or performance.

^thats still a 2 seater which wouldn't be practical carrying professionals around.

I'd say TSX in that case.

No like the hatch back style. (except hte mini from what i can tell. she hates the mazda3 and the fit that kinda style)

Ohh yea, she loves miatas, and roadsters, but they wont fill her needs.

She wants somethign that has more soul than an accord meaning everyoen dosnt have one.

No suv

^^^^hence why I listed it

And tell her to grow up and take care of her car Otherwise, might as take that $30k and light it on fire

1. go to leith bmw
2. buy a CPO e90 328i sedan under warranty
3. profit

professional looking. newish. bmw will fill a warranty claim at the drop of a hat.

seriously, this is simple, don't fuck it up. you're looking at $25k maybe less.

Kinda ironic, just got a call from a female friend (not a car person at all) who has a late model car, just out of warranty...

She was driving to the beach a few hours ago, and noticed that the car wasn't "as fast as normal". She kept driving as the temp gauge was pegged +other lights -->oil light flickers --> oil light on --> engine no longer running. Now the car needs a new engine.

My wife has had a mini for 5 years. She loves it, her next car will be a mini. Maybe look for a clubman if you need space but there is typically pleanty of room. Just put the tall people in the back.... honest it is better that way.

I'm about to buy a new GTI. they're pretty girly.

won all sorts of shootouts and awards this year. Even a Consumer Reportes 'Best Sporty Car of the Year'. Thats says a lot, CR used to hate all over VW.

They also come w/ free scheduled maintenance for 3yr/36k

328i as long as she doesn't want/need cheap maintenance. If so, just get a 4 door Accord or TSX.

Friend has an 05 model. Look into one, she may like this. the 2010's are big and roomy (less sporty than the outgoing models) and with the benefits of turbo and AWD. They are plenty quick and have a grown up look. A used 2008 or 2009 would be good too, they're smaller than the brand new ones.

this forum is a bit ghetto compared to others I use and the number of "^" doesn't indicate how many posts up you're referring to

sell her your v6 stang convertible, and you get a stang GT coupe. then only one of you will look like a girl when driving.
