anyone on here have one/ been in one? kinda been thinking of walking in there and lowballing it just to see what happens. It looks like it would be a great truck to replace my aging sport trac. I know I should just go buy a used f150 or something but I see those things and I think "man that would be great on the farm."

what ever for?

An acquaintance of mine has one. Leased. It's a good thing too, since it has horrible power/gas mileage. Heavy as hell (getting started at a light and turning). Bad interior materials (feels cheap, door handle broke off, rattles). It does ride really well on pavement though.[Edited on March 15, 2010 at 11:08 PM. Reason : I'm not really sure why she didn't spring for the V8, b/c you don't drive it for the MPG]

I'd love an h1 but not in my budget that and having had 2 of the gm 6.5 diesels already not wanting to go that route ever again. I might just go and look anyway, thanks ford the honest review. Vies on YouTube get me worked up. Probaly should just hit up carmax and get a late model f150 or another sport Trac.

You can get one with a 5.3 vortec. I haven't looked at them, but I bet they've depreciated pretty good.

what would this thing do on a farm that a Mule wouldn't do?
3/17/2010 6:17:11 PM
talk about overpriced. we quit buying gators/mules about 8 years ago. have 8 of the gators at one time but deere just bleeds you to death on parts. we've been buying old isuzus converting them to flatbeds... much better and much more bang for your buck. I was looking at this for part runabout for me and a marketing machine as well, put some nice graphics on it to help out selling the construction side of things. but I think I'll wait a little while and see what happens. carmax has a ample supply of f150s, doubt that'll change anytime soon.
