In high school I worked at a hotel in Brigantine (island just north of the borgata) and supposedly in the basement, there existed a tunnel from prohibition times. The tunnel supposedly ran underground to the north end of the island where mobsters would unload alcohol from ships. [/random]

HBO is on top of their game right now and I have continually been impressed by stuff that they are putting out. I plan to actually get an HBO subscription for the first time in 2011 to watch this and GoT among other things.

Loved it; couple questions


1. The Iranian/Mexican guy who was popped in the head at the end...what was his role again? Was he the head Chicago boss or someone lesser? I was a bit confused why he was killed and the guys who pissed off Nucky at the casino weren't.

2. Who was the guy who sold Nucky the shipment of whisky, the guy he met at the pier? Was he a major player or just someone minor in the overall picture?

3. What was the 2010 worth of $1000 back 90 years ago? I'd guess at least 10 times that, maybe 20
