2/24/2010 8:23:29 PM
I thought it was a joke trailer/commercial when I first saw it.
2/24/2010 8:51:43 PM
exactly. this trailer should be a warning on how you dont want your movie to be
2/24/2010 8:58:45 PM

2/24/2010 9:04:46 PM
i mean it could be one of those so bad its kinda good type of movies.....ala Snakes on a Plane. That is still one of the best experiences i had in a theatre to this day...and that is without getting movie dome
2/24/2010 9:25:57 PM

2/24/2010 9:52:01 PM

2/25/2010 5:32:13 AM

2/25/2010 8:32:02 AM
This looks like it could be funny
2/25/2010 8:36:22 AM
Wow, the red band trailer was awful.
2/25/2010 10:28:14 AM
This is either really funny, or fucking stupid.
2/25/2010 10:55:11 AM
What's the verdict?
3/26/2010 7:43:27 PM
looks like my type of movie.
3/26/2010 8:22:18 PM
Amazing movie, in my opinion. I thought it was going to be retarded, but I had a free ticket so I watched it, definitely would have been worth paying to see.
3/26/2010 11:37:35 PM
Entertainment Weekly rated it as a B.
3/27/2010 12:04:09 AM
So is this out now or what
3/27/2010 12:39:32 AM
John Cusack, why are you so awesome and so not awesome at the same time - you paradox, you.
3/27/2010 1:17:58 AM
"Oh this is how it happens? It's so worth it."
3/27/2010 1:58:15 AM
I saw it last night, and it was pretty funny. I was expecting much worse.
3/27/2010 9:15:54 AM
This looks like tropic thunder in terms of looking really really bad from the previews but being fucking hilarious when you actually see it.at least i hope so.

3/27/2010 10:14:36 AM
I think I would watch this, but I wouldn't pay to. I'll wait until it comes to HBO. I feel like I already know the jokes going on. Not that that's a bad thing--the same could be said of Judd Apatow's best comedies, and they work.Roger Ebert had this douchebaggery to offer:"extends John Cusack's remarkable run: Since 1983, in 55 films, he's never made a bad one"Fuck you, Roger Ebert. Sincerely. I offer these as my premises for refutation:etc.

I took it directly from metacritic.comhttp://www.metacritic.com/film/titles/hottubtimemachineI guess they must've misquoted.EDIT: Or your site misquoted...http://www.post-trib.com/entertainment/2121245,new-hottub0326.article[Edited on March 27, 2010 at 3:02 PM. Reason : .]

roger ebert is a columnist for the chicago sun times. I would take http://rogerebert.suntimes.com to be the authority on this matter, not its NW indiana subsidiary.[Edited on March 27, 2010 at 3:04 PM. Reason : .]

You're probably right. Just showing that I didn't make it up. Someone else must've misquoted somewhere along the line. I don't feel like that makes me a tool.[Edited on March 27, 2010 at 3:12 PM. Reason : .]
3/27/2010 3:07:40 PM
well, when you say something like "fuck you roger ebert" it hurts my feelings, because he's a cool dude and my favorite critic.... that's all. to bring this back on topic, I'm seeing it tonight and have luke warm to favorable expectations.
3/27/2010 3:35:59 PM
Fair enough...I just feel like he gives EVERYTHING a good review. I don't really have a beef with him, though; I just thought that quote as I saw it was silly.

3/28/2010 12:49:34 PM
saw this yesterday. hilarious! i loved it. def had the potential to be really bad but i loved it. i'd watch it again for sure!and its nice to see a comedy without the same people from the all the apatow movies[Edited on March 28, 2010 at 1:59 PM. Reason : kjasdkj]

i liked it alot more than i liked The Hangover which everyone seemed to have a hard on for...it wasn't great or even something i'd watch too many extra times but it never lost my attention and there were no slow parts except maybe for lizzy caplan scenes (blasphemy?)i was waiting for crispin glover to do something a little more badass
