he's coming back for a tourney in march
2/17/2010 2:52:01 PM
damn, he's 34? i thought he was only 30 or so
2/17/2010 3:38:46 PM
only super-human athletes can fuck like tiger at the age of 34
2/17/2010 10:00:51 PM
i, personally, do not give a shit about his personal affairs. i do, however, enjoy watching him play golf.
2/18/2010 8:11:41 AM
I hope this means he is coming back soon. I, too, love to watch the guy play golf and this year's majors are at all the right courses for him.AugustaPebbleSt. AndrewsWhistling StraitsIs it possible he could be back next week even?
2/18/2010 10:06:17 AM
He is following the old PR formula that everyone seems to buy. Go to rehab and come out a few months later to say I am sorry.
2/18/2010 10:10:12 AM
u rightIt works though. All he needs to do is apologize to his wife and fans and then move on.Tiger didn't cheat the game of golf, and in the end that's all I give a fuck about anyway.
2/18/2010 10:24:43 AM
guess he hasnt spoken yet.what a toolbag.
2/18/2010 12:04:34 PM
2/18/2010 12:28:44 PM
^^it's not friday yet. toolbag.[Edited on February 18, 2010 at 12:32 PM. Reason : .]
2/18/2010 12:31:54 PM
damn. i fucking thought it was friday.wow.i am le toolbag.
2/18/2010 1:11:59 PM
I guess he finally got his grill fixed and can be seen in public now
2/18/2010 1:16:56 PM
Possible leaked apology, although it def is poorly written:
2/18/2010 1:30:45 PM
pretty much any canned response that includes an apology, accepting blame, and saying he's coming back for the masters or before you can say is his "leaked" response.
2/18/2010 1:40:46 PM
he was doing good 'till this Buddhism rant
2/19/2010 11:13:38 AM
this is awful
2/19/2010 11:15:18 AM
Kind of sucks that he said he "may" be back this year. PLAY SOME DAMN GOLF TIGER
2/19/2010 11:21:38 AM
boring
2/19/2010 11:23:49 AM
It is all contrived bullshit written or at least checked over by a PR expert. Still no explanation of what actually happened with the "car accident".[Edited on February 19, 2010 at 11:24 AM. Reason : added to it.]
2/19/2010 11:23:57 AM
Though I did find his schpeal about his wife never beating him fairly comical.
2/19/2010 11:25:58 AM
What athlete doesn't have contrived bullshit written by a PR expert? That happens every single time one of them speaks...
2/19/2010 11:28:22 AM
That was lame. He should have just stayed in hiding.
2/19/2010 11:32:59 AM
i was hoping that paragraph up there led to Yo Holmes but alas, disappointed
2/19/2010 11:37:19 AM
geez it's like he murdered people or somethingpeople are such hypocrites....leave tiger alonereally doesn't have to apologize to anyone but his wife and family
2/19/2010 11:38:21 AM
^youre right. but if youre going to go through all this make it decent. it wasnt even sincere so whats the point
2/19/2010 11:39:52 AM
^^dude couldn't just get up there and wing it. Just because it's a prepared speech doesn't mean it doesn't echo his true feelings. The man is a golfer, not an entertainer.
2/19/2010 11:48:37 AM
^dude is a manwhore
2/19/2010 11:53:23 AM
^^i agree w/ thatThe one thing... if tiger comes back to play the masters, he looks awful. For these apologies' to come off as sincere, he'll have to come back at the end of the year or next year.
2/19/2010 11:55:54 AM
He didn't sound too confident about playing this year. He said "maybe" but was implied to me through the way he was talking it would be a while still till he got back on the course.
2/19/2010 12:03:19 PM
well he went through 45 days of therapy already, if he goes through another 45 days of therapy this time around I dont see how he would be able to get back and practice enough to play the Masters or whateverI think he might be done for the rest of this golf season
2/19/2010 12:12:00 PM
he's 100% playing this year....that was all part of the marketing twistif he were to have said "i'm definitely playing" then when he does actually play, we're all like "we already knew he was playing"but since he said "i'm maybe playing" then when he does finally play, we're all like "WOW! He's playing! I must watch this!!!!!"
2/19/2010 12:18:38 PM
i do don't, however, enjoy watching him anyone play golf
2/19/2010 12:21:06 PM
clever
2/19/2010 12:26:31 PM
He'll come back to some mid-level tournament in may, then kick ass at the US Open @ Pebble
2/19/2010 12:35:51 PM
that shit was almost as bad as bobby jindal's response last year.
2/19/2010 12:36:38 PM
^ i'm assuming that dude is a professional chess player or maybe a horse jockey since I've never heard of him and his name appears in a Sports Talk thread.
2/19/2010 12:55:31 PM
Did the Buddhist comment strike anyone else as odd.I could almost hear other Buddhist's around the world saying "NOOOO.WE DON’T CLAIM YOU."
2/19/2010 1:00:21 PM
i swear people hate on buddhism just because it sounds funnyi felt like he did really mean the stuff he was saying so it was a successful statementand yea he will def play soon
2/19/2010 1:23:35 PM
i think he brought up his faith because there has been a lot said that he needs to turn to Christianity.
2/19/2010 1:39:43 PM
Brit Hume =/= a lot
2/19/2010 1:40:02 PM
makes me sick when people say someone needs to change their religioni think tiger should have expressed even more anger in his voiceif i was a celebrity i wouldn't be nice fuck the endorsementswhat do you do with more than 100 mil - i dunno
2/19/2010 1:53:26 PM
well instead of buying one island I might buy 2
2/19/2010 4:28:51 PM
or start working on purchasing a continent
2/19/2010 4:32:00 PM
^ which continent do you think is the most expensive and least expensive to purchase? i think antarctica would probably be the least expensive simply because it is not inhabited except for penguins.... I am not sure what the most expensive one would be...[Edited on February 20, 2010 at 2:12 AM. Reason : n]
2/20/2010 2:11:21 AM
I like that...talking about buying the africans...your gps would be proud...basterd[Edited on February 20, 2010 at 3:18 AM. Reason : drunken gramma]
2/20/2010 3:17:10 AM
basterd? speelchek ftw
2/20/2010 10:15:17 AM
3/2/2010 11:14:26 AM
I think it would be a mistake to come back for the Masters with no warm up tournamentBay Hill 2 weeks prior would seem like the best bet, if in fact he's coming back so soon... I wouldn't be surprised if he holds out till May or June in prep for the US open at Pebble
3/2/2010 11:24:28 AM
He's going to win the slam this year. Mark it down.
