I need post a clip I ripped from a DVD I own online. You Tube is somehow recognizing that it is Fox's material and has banned the movie from being shown. I plan to take the video down within the week, and limit it only to a handful of people watching it. So rather than show it in class, the teacher has opted for it to be posted. What other video sites are available for use that have that instant play feature? So no downloads/complicated methods to view

For people who want to do it as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QO-Y6buBGUkYou tube blocked it, then unblocked it instantly after it was disputed. I guess they do that to curb most people who don't know enough about it. It is 100% legal according to: Copyright Disclaimer under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for fair use for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statue that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or professional use tips the balance in favor of fair use.

^ except that you'd have to prove that the purposes fall under the fair use lawsmeh

You can always make it a private video on youtube. I have several concert videos like that, that otherwise would have been pulled down. Just wanted to share them with a couple of coworkers.
