I've got a credit card with them, but they require me to actually mail a check every month(no electronic payment/draft options) Based solely on this fact, I assume they still wear petticoats, use pull-handle adding machines and transport money on ox-drawn wagons with shotguns.

i do every bit of my banking online with bbandt...i don't even receive a paper credit card statement.

^ this. i've never had to mail anything in while banking at bb & t. smc, i'm fairly certain you can pay your credit card bill at any branch.

Avoid BB&T like the plague whether you are seeking employment with them or banking with them.

It's a recent policy. They now only allow electronic credit card payments from an actual BB&T checking account...which I don't have nor want. So fuck 'em. I don't carry a balance and they'll never get their hands on a dime of my money.

Their corporate building looks awkward in downtown Winston-Salem. It's like it wants to be a skyscraper but it's dwarfed by the other buildings that want to be skyscrapers. It's the chode of the skyline.
