anyone who has taken either of the classes knows what kind of grades and how easy each is? I need 1 for an elective. I hear that IDS 201 is easier but the material does not seem intersting, ENT 201 is more interesting to me[Edited on January 29, 2010 at 10:43 PM. Reason : ]

ids201 with wiggins ftw! super easy class...lecture are shorter than full session...one group paper and one group powerpoint presentation are the only out of class work and take about an hour or two each.easiest A i had by far.

are there a lot of freshmen in the class? and what is the material like? will I like it if i'm not that interested in the environment?

i don't know about ent201, but consider ent203 - Intro. to Bees and Beekeeping. That class is pretty interesting, and VERY easy. There are a few tests and a couple of group projects - which are easy. But i think it's definitely worth taking a look at if you're looking for something that is easy and at least somewhat interesting.

i heard that class was easy but i dont want to get stung by bees

there are no bees in the class. At one point toward the end of the semester you can, if you want, go to a place on campus and interact with actual bees. You wear a mask and hold the queen (in a jar) to get the other bees to approach. Don't know of anyone being stung doing this in my class or out of the 4-5 people I know who the took the class at other times. But like I said, that's completely optional, you don't have to go or you can go and just watch. Otherwise, everything is in a classroom with no bees.
