I am thinking about going, but I actually have other stuff I could be doing if it isn't useful (DiffEq homework for one).

Has anyone been to one of these in the past? Is it worth it?

why not? if you don't like it, just do something else. it's free. you don't have anything to lose. you never know who you will sit down next to...a potential colleague, girlfriend, boyfriend, cool friend, etc. That's how I look at it. You never know. Just go.

I just bought the Kaplan study book that had both verbal and quantitative sections and a CD.. It was purple and silver, I think. Then I got the box of 500 vocab words. I did really well on it (and I hate standardized tests) so I suggest that..
