So it usually Idles around 4-500 RPM but every now and again the idle rpm will drop to 1-200 RPM. It always comes back up to normal.

What I really want to fix is that it consistently sputters at 2000rpm while I'm accelerating.

Ideas???

What kind of spark plugs do you have in it? Has it always done this or did this start after some sort of work was performed?

^^yes, it'll probably sound like an old hit-and-miss engine, but yes

It just started randomly.

Plugs was my initial thought too, so I changed them and double checked the wires, so I don't think it's the Spark Plugs.

"fuel filer"

If it's the fuel filter wouldn't it sputter at random times rather than at 2000 RPM Consistently?

Man... my fault for asking T-dub... I'm 99% sure it's not the spark plugs... but it's whatever basic plug they make I don't have the serial no. right in front of me. I didn't go buy the high performance plugs b/c I don't need the extra .01% difference in performance.

I'd ask on jeepforum. There's a lot of threads on there about this sort of thing and there's a hell of a lot more people on there than there are in The Garage.
