Obviously Holt had the best prime

and I think Koren Robinson definitely had the most god-given talent

I thought Tramain Hall never got a fair crack in the pros...I could see him as a dynamic punt returner/slot receiver if the cards fell in to place

Bryan Clark was in the league for a couple of years too from that little era where State was putting WRs in the NFL. I think Cotchery is great person and good posession WR, but he'll never be Pro Bowl material like Mario, Phil, and Wilson unless he got on a team with a QB like Brady/Brees/Manning (i.e. can make a guy like Wes Welker into a star).

Put him on the right team with a pass happy offense, and he could turn into a Reggie Wayne. They are both the same size (6', 200lbs), and their stats early in their careers are pretty similar. Wayne MIGHT have half a step on Cotchery, but Jericho still has some 'getup in him.

Wayne definitely has a step on him, but more to the point he's on the receiving end of Peyton Manning's passes. I'm sure JCo would be much more productive in with say, the Chargers, Pats, or Saints.

Don't get me wrong, Jamie Barnette was one of the better QBs NC State has ever had, but Holt made Barnette look like a better QB than he was much like Rivers made many of his receivers look like better receivers than they were.

Maybe, but the only one you hear anything about is Vincent Jackson though and it wasn't but like a season or so ago where they basically had no offensive weapons other than Antonio Gates (and LT)

and both years he seemed to have about 5 good weeks and then a bunch of blah

Philip was the only QB on my roster. I still won in the bye week. Finished 3rd in the final standings only because all my top WR's got fucking hurt during the play offs. Jericho helped me out too. I had like a 7 game win streak.

i disagree. taking cotchery for a 3rd WR when in his last 3 seasons he has had 1100+, 800+, 800+ yards isn't a homer move.

neither was drafting PR in the 14th round as a backup QB...to tom brady...in 2008

You don't hear much about Malcolm Floyd but he's emerged as another great tall down-field option. The only need for the Chargers offense, IMO, is fresh legs at runningback. The end comes quick for RB's and Tomlinson's time has come.
