Current schedule is:BUS 320 - Sloan 9:10-10:00 MWF (Heard he's a great teacher)BUS 442 - James Yuill 12:25-1:15 MWF (No idea)Any idea how hard/easy Yuill is?Also planning on PS 201 as per another thread here. George Carson and Andrew Taylor are two open slots, dunno anything about them.Looking for one more EASY class (I'll go to class, just don't want huge projects and shit). I looked at PHI of Science but the only open section conflicts with 442 which I actually need.thx.

does it matter what department the class is in? or is it a free-elective?

It could be cool if it was relevant to my major BUS IT Conc. That being said I don't really care. I just need a filler class. There are only two classes specifically on my audit that I could get into this semester. I just need a couple GPA boosters.

SSC 185 with Havlin is a breeze, 20 pts of extra credit to any test at the end of the semester.BUS 320 is a breeze too. Didn't need to go to class to A+ that class, but Sloan is very interesting.

I'll check into SSC with my schedule. I've got one online course right now that I'd rather not have ($400 extra). I'm glad to hear 320 is easy, but I'll definitely be going to that class as I've heard great things about Sloan. Hopefully going to find somewhere to fit in Personal Finance with him as well.I'd love to hear any more suggestions; hopefully going to get this squared away tonight. Wish I didn't have to wait this long to register, but oh well. Thanks so far!

tde110 or tde161 - neither of those should have work outside of the classroom. Just show up, do the work (it's woodshop and graphics). you do have to show up though.Soc342 with Terry - International Development (think that was her name, if not i'll let you know). Can't say for any other instructor. You don't have to go to class. just read the books (easy reading) and know that she is a communist, loves all things communist, and will always paint communist dictators in a better light than American leaders. If you can do that, i guarantee you an A. You probably don't even need to read the books if you know how poorly written and bias her test questions are. Just a few exams, no papers. Attendance not required.Ent203 - bees and beekeeping. Easy class, and actually kinda interesting.Psy200 - Intro to psych. I mean, it's a 200 level psych class. Particularly easy with Craig, he makes attendance worth so little that you only have to go to about 6 classes and you can still get an A.

Already got the A in psych, that's the third time I've seen ENT203 on the site, I'll check into it. TDE as well; both of those seem interesting.Just found out I can't actually get into 442, so now I have 3 electives to choose. Not graduating until 2011, so it's not a bad thing I guess.

try to get into BUS 425 with sloan at some point in your college career. I took it last semester and it was probably the most informative class that I took at NCSU as far as personal financing reasons

Verdict:320 - Seems good.Phi. of Science - good.PS 201 (online) - dunno yet.Soc342 - Apparently she's taking role now? Syllabus excerpt:"Any student who habitually misses classes, or who appears only to take the exam, or who comes to class just to sign the attendance sheet and leave, can expect to have your non-attendance reported to Registration and Records and recorded on your record." Don't know the implications of this, but I've got 5 days to figure it out.

Good to hear. It sounded like hot air for sure.I wouldn't mind going to class daily if it was earlier in the day. I think the bias is going to be funny as hell; especially when she starts butting heads with the right wingers. I can already tell just from the course map that you're spot on with the left leanings. Thanks![Edited on January 12, 2010 at 9:24 AM. Reason : ...]
