I just bought a new ION platform motherboard to put in a file server. I installed Ubuntu 9.10 got video acceleration working and all that. I want to set it up so that I can remotely manage certain things through HTTP (modify shares, start downloads, delete shit, etc) like FreeNAS.Anyone know of anything like that I can run under apache?

Why not just do that via SSH?

because it is a pain in the ass. i could do it using remote desktop, but that's a pain in the ass too.

If you want easy file server management, install Windows home server. If you want free file server management, deal with SSH or Remote Desktop

^srsly.not sure what ION has anything to do with it, nor video. i think he meant Atom/miniITX as the reasons he's putting it in the file server.
