Anywhere around the Triangle area that serves poutine?I first had it in Seattle a couple years ago and fell in love with it. I know about Milltown in Carrboro (pretty much the only reason I go there)Backyard Bistro used to have it but they no longer offer it on their menu. Which is ok because their poutine wasn't that good.

Fhqwhgads, you should check out in Milltown in Carrboro.
4/20/2014 5:29:49 PM
I heard Milltown in Carrboro has it.But seriously, it's ok to eat cheese fries if you give them a fancy name? I'm down.
4/20/2014 5:34:10 PM
I wouldnt exactly say poutine is a "fancy" name
4/20/2014 6:00:38 PM
poutine sounds like a sexually explicit curse word, and shit looks disgusting
4/20/2014 6:04:35 PM
I've never had it at Joule because there's so many good things on the menu. Well, I should say I just didn't see it on the menu. Short rib biscuits and gravy people... it's at another level. But next time I'm there (might as well call it next weekend) I'll have to try the poutine. Haven't been to Milltown yet, and I might try it there.
4/20/2014 6:12:27 PM
It's pronounces like "peu-tin"
4/20/2014 6:12:46 PM
Poutine is not fancy at all, and the name is just french, not really fancy. It's just street/bar food, no more fancy than chili cheese fries or nachos.^^^ It's delicious. I've made it myself a few times.[Edited on April 20, 2014 at 6:14 PM. Reason : ]
