Nikon f/1.8 50mm is usually running around $100

However coming down into the 24mm range will set you back 2-3 bills. Primes only?

And do you need a G type or cool with screw-type focus?

Picked up a 50mm for 25$ on ebay (Nikkor glass too)... You can get Kiron or Vivitar 28mm for not that much (30$) and that's kinda what I'm looking for. Doesn't have to be Nikkor glass..

F-mount, no screw on.

^I'm out then... all I have is Nikkor glass w/ screw mounts... I think there may be a 70-300mm G type somewhere
