I know I've seen people post that they used Legal Aid of NC but I can't seem to find those posts. All I want to know is if it's possible to go in person and set an appt for a later date or is it just stand in line and talk to a laywer that day?I've been on hold 3 times for 20+ minutes at which time their system hangs up on me, not the other way around. I don't need to see a lawyer today but I did want to ask the question ^ because the website is pretty sparse about information. Thank you! Also any problems/comments about using Legal Aid are obviously welcome!

does anybody even have a way contact these people through email so I don't have to be on hold to ask a 30 second question?

I used Legal Aid in Greensboro for my unemployment case. Dude was awesome, and i highly recommend them. But yes, the initial set-up can be pretty painful. Be expected to hold forever, and to call back multiple times after being disconnected.

you have to go through intake system so they can route you to a specific attorney. i mean most can answer your questions but they'll prob want to direct you to someone who focuses on the kind of case you have.
