I'm trying to choose a security/surveillance camera system to install at a local business. 16-channel internet accessible DVR systems are the main requirement. Easy backups and quick access to replay functions are important. Obviously, high quality equipment and video are major factors.I have experience with this system by Q-See but the interface seems to run slow and sluggish on playback, and I don't think these guys would like that. Backups to external devices, namely DVDs isn't the easiest thing to do with this one. This system looks excellent, and has a built-in DVD burner. Reading through the manual, it seems like it will be easy to use and it looks like it does instant replays - it is considerably more expensive though. This system looks like a nice one, but I know that the backup functions have to go over USB and then to a disc.Internet monitoring is important, as this setup will be mostly monitored remotely. I know I've left out some details, but I think the basics are there. Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.]

How much is budgeted towards this?

They're willing to pay whatever a good, easy to use system costs. The insurance break will help "pay" for it. I know they'd like to get out with it installed for ~$2000. The 2nd system I listed with the DVD burner will do everything they want without hassle, but it's pretty pricey. The others require a little more work to get what they want to do, but are much cheaper.
