Biggest Studs: Tracy Smith, NC State and Omar Samhan, Saint Mary's. Smith scored 17 of his game-high 19 points in the second half as the Wolfpack got their best road win in recent memory at Marquette on Saturday. Smith was 9-of-14 from the field and grabbed 11 rebounds. Samhan is having a great year and is the most underappreciated big man in the country. He knows how to play. On Saturday, Samhan scored 22 points and grabbed 17 rebounds in a win at Utah State. On the season, he's averaging 19.6 points, 12.4 rebounds and two blocks. If Samhan starts hitting his free throws at a higher rate, those scoring numbers will go up even more.

Publicity for the Wolfpack always ends in high hopes and high disapointment. We don't want anyone to know about us.

^I like how you put it

^ Just because I haven't posted over 1000 doesn't mean squat. I've been supporting this site since 2001 before you even knew the site existed.

^^ This maybe true, but a little positive press here or there may help a little with recruiting. I just wanted to point it out because its a nice change from our usual blurbs that mention Herb and how our fans are nuts for running him off.

^ ignore em

Tracy needs to learn to keep the ball high. He learns that and he becomes pretty damn good.

^ Agreed. He also needs to work on passing before the double-team comes, but our entire front court need to do that.

Yall supersticious? I still don't have high hopes for the basketball team (although, so far, we've done better than I thought we'd do). But good press is good. Morons just need to learn to keep their expectations in check.

Pretty funny though:
