I too, shopped Staples on Black Friday.

What was the staples deal? There was a HP coupon code for their website floating around for $200 off. Additionally there were free upgrades to 320GB HDD and 4GB RAM, as well as Blu-Ray drive. Of course this happened right after I bought mine.

Office Max has it for $499 with a 320Gb hard drive and you can mail in to get the Windows 7.http://www.officemax.com/catalog/sku.jsp?skuId=21910602&affcode=performics&cm_ven=Performics&cm_cat=DealCatcher.com&cm_pla=GoldenCAN-%20OfficeMax&cm_ite=GoldenCAN-%20OfficeMax&siteID=k2164&mid=11_HP-G60-442O_500Seems you may have buyers remorse...[Edited on December 5, 2009 at 1:57 PM. thats not even the same laptop...but coolIt's not buyers remorse since I bought 2 of them. I gave one to my dad, thought I could sell this for a small profit. Staples doesn't have a restocking fee, so worst case would be returning it to the store for a full refund...I'll go down to 500 even for this if thats the case. No tax either.[Edited on December 5, 2009 at 2:22 PM. Reason : asf]

I'm assuming this has the Intel GMA 4500MHD, which is a steaming pile (just barely capable of HD playback). Absolutely useless for gaming, even older games. But.. this same computer will cost $599 from HP, so the $499 asking price ain't so bad.My sister's fiancee was looking to get a dv4... if he weren't 1500 miles away, I'd point him to this thread.

Final offer - 475 firm- otherwise I'm going to have to return it to the store...
