got a few issues with my truck, wanted some advice.2003 toyota tundra, SR5, 4 door, 108K1) Parking brake light intermittently stays on while driving, and the light to show im in drive doesnt work anymore. Big issues, easily fixed, or just something to get used to?2) Serious rotor warping/brake pad issues, i'm probably just going to completely replace both, but would it be better for the system to get really good rotors or pads, or just medium levels on both?3) Driver's seat armrest fabric is worn out completely....any decent upholstery shops in raleigh or anyone know where i could order one?

1. light on may be low on brake fluid. check your fluid. ignore the PRNDL light, you know what gear you are in, unless you are getting ready to sell it.2. just go to NAPA or Advance Auto and get some pads and have the rotors turned if they are still in spec. Unless you do a huge amount of towing, those replacements will work fine.3. try a junkyard or search http://www.car-part.com.

I'd go with medium-high, but closer to high, quality on the rotors and pads. I once bought some brake stuff for my car, but I got medium high quality that was closer to medium q and my brakes just caught on fire. High quality is overkill though.

http://www.TundraSolutions.comI think there is a complete seat cover set for sale for $60 brand new in the classifieds. Also you brake issues, is the steering wheel shaking or the whole truck? I have serious shaking in my truck, its the rear brakes. There is a TSB about the rear drums. They have to be replaced with new drums from Toyota that have added mass to prevent shaking. The part that suck is they are about $175 a piece.

1) never thought about checking the brake fluid, thanks2) about the brakes, i've already had them turned and replaced the pads once, maybe year and a half ago, and it got better for a little while, but then went right back to being bad. its not just the steering wheel shaking, but its literally the whole truck shaking, and sadly, i dont ever tow much.3) checked the websites, but i didnt find just the arm rest, and thats all i really need, which lead to the thought of just getting it reupholstered.

2) you need new rotors then if it shakes that bad and you've already turned them. They are warped. Get some decent ones, not the cheapos. http://www.napaonline.com/Search/Detail.aspx?A=NB_4886931_0148376847&An=0+50070+2070029+102003These might be alright, but I would never go to cheap on brake pads or rotors. You don't want to plow through someone Might need rear ones as well. Good luck.

^^ Like I said, if it's not the steering wheel and it's the whole truck shaking, its the rear. Belive me, I have a 2003 with 103k, going through the same thing. You may need fronts as well, but they are NOT the source of this vibration.
