just got a new sony vaio and Im trying to use my DJ stuff on it

however...trying to figure out how I may be able to run a line out to my DJ stuff and still be able to hear what is going on through the headphones.

would I need a secondary USB card to do that or is there a a way to run it without buying one?

anyone have any clue what I am talking about, I feel like I can barely understand my question myself.
