are you around a computer much? if so, go to pandora.com, last.fm, etc.add music:Animal Collective - Strawberry JamThe WhoFlaming LipsDaft PunkSebastien TellierBob DylanAvett BrothersBoards of CanadaAirI find a shit ton of new music through pandora. I know people who hate it and claim it just plays the same stuff over and over for them. But I think they're just not actively "liking" and "disliking" songs, adding new stuff, etc. I hear stuff everyday (that i like) that I've never heard before. It won't instantly start spouting out new stuff constantly. But if you add as much stuff that you like as possible, and then actively like and dislike songs, it works very well imo. That being said, I sit at a computer all day and can listen to pandora for several hrs a day. If you use it for an hr a week, it's not going to be very useful

You will definitely without a doubt like Justice & Ratatat if you like Daft Punk, Board of Canada and Air.Theres a few other IDM bands but most of them are heads in assI'm AstralAdvent and i approved this message.[Edited on December 2, 2009 at 1:16 PM. Reason : ]

Ratatat is hipster elevator music. Their remix of Notorious B.I.G.'s "Party and Bullshit" is amazing, though.

Ratatat fucking sucks. It's like Chromeo without any humor.
12/2/2009 6:02:01 PM
i take offense to your suggestion that Holy Fuck is hipster elevator music. let's not forget they're improvisational.
12/2/2009 6:58:40 PM
i will maintain that the first Ratatat record is pretty good. and both of their remix mixtapes are enjoyable

Big beats, synths zipping around, terrible guitar playing...I think that's enough to qualify it for resembling Chromeo.^^ As for you, I came to post a suggestion and did so. The Ratatat comment was just a bonus. ]
