Rest on the bench well.

Gotta be honest, I don't have high hopes for the Matt Moore era either.

Take a chance with Moore if that doesn't work oh well they aren't going anywhere.Draft Tebow in the 2nd round....how about that 3-man run attack with TT, DeAngelo, and Stewart?
11/30/2009 1:39:43 PM
GOODI think moore will surprise everyone when he actually has a chance to prepare with the first team all week instead of being thrown in when we have a 2+ touchdown deficit....The last time he got the first team reps, he won two of three.
11/30/2009 1:45:55 PM
For the love of god, I hope they don't draft Tebow. He is like the Hansbrough of college football. He is gonna be terrible in the NFL.
11/30/2009 1:47:02 PM
Yea when there is a 100lb difference between the lineman and him, he is going to get stuffed pretty quickly...
11/30/2009 1:49:59 PM
because it's already a given hansbrough will suck righti think tebow will do well, although i'm not sure if his body will hold up to the pounding he'll take if he runs a lot
11/30/2009 1:50:02 PM
Someone get Vinny Testaverde on the phone
11/30/2009 2:02:39 PM
it'll be more of a Matt Moore Period
11/30/2009 2:28:55 PM
guys i don't watch the NFL, but how hard is it to get a drafted quarterback to play for your team? have the panthers considered this option?
11/30/2009 2:49:46 PM
what happened to jay feeley?
11/30/2009 2:57:29 PM
he turned into a kicker and took a dump and out popped AJ Feely
11/30/2009 2:58:30 PM
thank god, this is the best possible timing for moore, gets to prepare ahead for a game against a shitty opponent at home with not much pressure
11/30/2009 4:30:08 PM
this brings back memories of another home game vs Tampa several years backwhen NFL Legend Randy Fasani made his much-anticipated debutWe lost 12-9 in the shitfest to end all shitfests
11/30/2009 4:36:12 PM
^^^^^I don't think we even have a draft pick high enough to get a good QB, much less a Teblow.[Edited on November 30, 2009 at 4:39 PM. Reason : a]
11/30/2009 4:38:52 PM
Tebow will be there when our pick in the 2nd comes around, and we'll pass on him, and wisely so
11/30/2009 4:40:54 PM
I don't know.I think the Jags might draft him for jersey sales.
11/30/2009 4:42:05 PM
11/30/2009 4:43:16 PM
please do not draft tebow.
11/30/2009 4:44:14 PM
We should draft Harrison Beck.
11/30/2009 4:45:29 PM
Ah, the Chad LaRose phantom injury.
11/30/2009 5:11:44 PM
11/30/2009 5:39:15 PM
I have been hearing rumors of drafting Tim Hiller out of Western Michigan......oh and Tony Pike out of Cincy[Edited on November 30, 2009 at 5:53 PM. Reason : another rumor]
11/30/2009 5:49:36 PM
i don't think the panthers need a GREAT qb or anything. we just need someone competent who doesn't turn the ball over so terribly and can complete some third downs. with our running game, we can afford to wait until the second or even third round to find a solid, if unspectacular, quarterback.personally, I nominate Dan LeFevour from Central Michigan. I've liked him since I saw him against UGA to start the season last year. He's a tough motherfucker, he completed 71% of his passes this year, and he ran the ball over 150 times this year so that mobility might be helpful.
11/30/2009 7:15:19 PM
Chris Landry (the greatest fucking mind in sports radio/scouting) said last night that two GMs told him that they wont let Tebow slip past them in the first.I need to start a Chris Landry appreciation thread
11/30/2009 7:18:14 PM
i dont like settling for an avg QB. The evidence is pretty clear that a great QB makes teams contenders and makes them consistent winners. They erase a lot of mistakes in other parts of the team. Too bad we traded all our picks to address positions that arent QB.
11/30/2009 7:33:57 PM
This draft will probably be loaded with quality QBs -- Bradford, Mallet, Clausen, Locker -- so there will probably be some quality QBs there in the second round. If Colt McCoy somehow slides to us, I'll crap turds of joy.
11/30/2009 9:52:10 PM
i can't imagine that Mallet and Locker are going to leave after this yeartoo many good quarterbacks ahead of them in the ranking
12/1/2009 11:05:50 AM
my friend's cousin...Tim Hiller of Western Michigan.do it.
12/1/2009 11:08:38 AM
12/1/2009 11:41:07 AM
I'm telling you, the Jacksonville Jaguars are ABSOLUTELY getting Tebow. The other GM was probably the Buccaneers.
12/1/2009 2:34:48 PM
why? josh freeman is gonna be good and he's just a rookie
12/1/2009 3:09:55 PM
because they need another TE to play opposite KW2

hansbroughs fg% is 37%im not sure but i think that may be historically awful for a big man
12/24/2009 6:10:19 PM
yeah that is pretty bad... maybe he gets fouled alot.point is I don't think Tebow will be that bad in the NFL, he might not be a starter right away, but he'll find a way to get reps somewhere.
12/25/2009 12:22:27 AM
a missed shot during a shooting foul doesn't count towards your FG%
