eztv?
11/30/2009 3:49:40 AM
lol replace all of those torrent site acronyms with topsite and group acronyms (you can leave iso/izohunt) and you have still the past 20 years in piracy.
11/30/2009 7:28:33 AM
it's definitely more of a pain to download content than it used to be...sometimes i have to wait until at least noon the next day to download HD versions of popular TV shows

Yeah, where do we go now?
11/30/2009 8:39:44 AM
why does tpb still work? is not going to be shut down until the appeals process is over? i thought it was sold to some legal torrent group (or whatever)...
11/30/2009 8:43:39 AM
huh? mininova and ISO hunt at least are still up.
11/30/2009 9:33:19 AM
yeah, but have you actually tried to search for anything there?http://blog.mininova.org/articles/2009/11/26/mininova-limits-its-activities-to-content-distribution-service/

Sounds like someone needs to introduce you folks to the wonderful world of newsgroups.]
11/30/2009 11:22:56 AM
Bit Che still finds a pretty good amount of stuff for me
11/30/2009 11:45:16 AM
http://trackeraccess.org/i would invite someone but i have a 0.39 ratio and you have to have a 1.0 ratio.
11/30/2009 12:17:03 PM
newsgroups aren't free though it's not stealing if you have to pay for it
11/30/2009 1:09:34 PM
StC? = ScT?
11/30/2009 1:28:01 PM
lol@newsgroupsI'd rather pay to have a seedbox.

thanks for the heads up^ I saw that too, I just went ahead and clicked "register" and it didn't ask for an invite code. I just got the email confirmation.[Edited on November 30, 2009 at 6:05 PM. Reason : /]

with so many sites like megavideo and so many sites like surfthechannel hosting links i rarely download anything anymore
11/30/2009 6:46:26 PM
11/30/2009 7:18:36 PM
I just did the registration with no problems as well. Apparently everyone is trying to use it right now though. Right after I confirmed my registration I got a "Service Unavailable"... Looks like I might want to wait a day or two before actually trying to use it.

i haven't used a private tracker since high school except for quick searches for stupid shit. [cracks, cheesy music, shit i don't want to have to worry about seeding for years]I'm AstralAdvent and i approved this message.[Edited on November 30, 2009 at 11:30 PM. Reason : ]

revolutiontt ftw
12/1/2009 8:52:39 AM
what is the best way to ensure i am staying anonymous while downloading my copy of the latest free linux distribution
12/1/2009 9:46:11 AM
^ if torrenting, anonymity is impossible
12/1/2009 10:12:26 AM
monova and btjunkie have been pretty good for me in the past and in the wake up mininova and demonoid being down they have been fairly strong. Monova is sometimes unavailable but i think that's due to the influx of new users. trackeraccess.org will definitely get some usage from me now too. Also try 1337x.org
12/1/2009 10:35:03 AM
anyone remember the old TWW WASTE network?that was pretty tits.
12/1/2009 12:30:30 PM
it was pretty awesome
12/1/2009 12:31:31 PM
^^ i think that was before my time... please tell us more. im interested.
12/1/2009 1:28:59 PM
I could never get it to work correctly. I did leech from one of the tops on campus at like 10Mb/s though. Such a weird day when a fellow TWWer (at that point random-IRCer) was heading up this 'interrogation'. Grilling me about 495843 different regarding the site and my location/account. lol

So because of xmas I guess -- I have a couple of invites to revtt. What's another good private site these days? Also, using newsgroups is a helluva nifty way to beef up your ratio on torrent sites (download the torrent but get the bulk of the rars from binaries). revtt must have sceneheads because the releases are usually within minutes of pre times and sometimes hours before usenet.
12/1/2009 6:44:10 PM
can i get an invite to revolutiontt
12/1/2009 7:03:19 PM
And I
12/1/2009 8:05:08 PM
this thread is such a WASTE
12/1/2009 8:24:12 PM
i remember the WASTE. it was always private invite and shit.I do have about 1 TB of shit i could share now though.
12/2/2009 1:04:14 AM
I know that I'll eventually move to newsgroups, but private trackers are fine for now.
12/2/2009 1:12:56 AM
^^ still got any revtt invites?
12/2/2009 7:52:18 AM
no, i've only had demonoid.
12/2/2009 11:53:13 AM
