11/29/2009 5:31:25 PM
Football, basketball, soccer. I was decent in basketball (came off the bench and played about 15 minutes), too small to be effective in football (played WR and CB but was in for only a few plays during the games), and pretty good in soccer (started at Midfielder three years).
11/29/2009 5:33:10 PM

Freshman: FootballSophomore: Swim Team. I swam in the 200 Medley Relay (Free leg), 50 Free, 200 Free Relay, and 400 Free Relay. Went to Regonals.Junior: Swim Team. Men's team captain. I swam in the 200 Medley Relay (Breast or Free leg), 200 Individual Medley, 200 Free Relay, and 400 Free Relay. Went to Regonals.Senior: Swim Team. Men's team captain. I swam in the 200 Medley Relay (Fly or Free leg), 200 Individual Medley, 200 Free Relay, and 400 Free Relay. Went to Regonals.Once in college I would swim a couple times a week. I took swim conditioning as a PE. Either sophomore year or junior year I was on a good diet and swimming almost everyday. I lost a lot of weight and was in great shape. After graduating I bought a Pullen Park pool pass one time. I went for a couple times but it's just too crowded and hectic in there. I stopped going. In my prime, I considered myself slightly above average. I just walked on to the swim team with no experience and swam decent times.[Edited on November 29, 2009 at 5:51 PM. Reason : -]

i was on the swimming and diving teams. i was a really slow swimmer and i was decent at diving. until i saw a teammate hit her on the board and i was too afraid to do much after that.

11/29/2009 6:12:04 PM
Sports: Soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis.Don't get many chances to play soccer much anymore. Still play basketball at school every so often. Go to the batting cage whenever the weather is nice. Switched to playing racquetball instead of tennis. I was a starter on the soccer team, and used to be quite good.Non-sports: Boy Scouts, journalism/yearbook staff, environment club, chess club.Eagle Scout with Silver Palm, but am not involved with the troop attached to my school. Still engage in all three of the other things in my teaching curriculum.[Edited on November 29, 2009 at 6:31 PM. Reason : typo]

Softball for one year, swim team for four. Tried to do swim team in college but people were on a much higher level than I was used to.
11/29/2009 6:35:54 PM
i couldn't swim in college because my shoulders were poo pooed (i mean i wasn't good enough but at like a small school perhaps i could have)i swam year round for like a cazillion yearsi love swimming. it is just hard to do as a regular work out because a) the swim team is always in the pool when it is convenient for me to go (morning and evening) and sharing a lap lane with like 5 other slow fat people (no offense) isn't funand b) like if i go run or walk or just go to a yoga class or something, even if i get sweaty i can still go do stuff after like go back to school, etcwith swimming i have to shower cause a) it is smelly and b) chlorine is not good for skin/hair c) i don't want to go swim in between class and have to go back to school all wet
11/29/2009 6:39:57 PM
Baseball for 4 years. 3 times all conference. No other activities.I played softball a while ago, tried to join WillemJoel's team but that didn't make it off the ground..I was good.
11/29/2009 6:42:10 PM
I did jujitsu for two years and was terrible at it I was in NHS and Yearbook but those would be pretty much impossible to be involved with now lol. But I make worksheets which sadly is a lot like yearbook.

11/29/2009 6:54:28 PM
Football, Wrestling, Track (shotput, discus, 1600meter )I wrestled for a year in college before getting sick with Mono and giving up.Our football program was really good, and I won my conference in wrestling my senior year. I wouldn't say I was that decent of a wrestler though; we just played in a really shitty conference.
11/29/2009 6:56:49 PM
Sport: Track - distance runningSemi-Sport: Marching Band, I'd list this as a sport given the rigorous and competitive nature of our band but I know some yahoos here will scoff at the notion. ROTC, since there were field meets in the Spring.
11/29/2009 7:01:10 PM
Tennis (#1 seed, team captain, all-conference mvp, 3-time individual regional tournament)Soccer (team captain)Track (shot, disc, mile, 4x800 interesting combo)Swim teamTennis is my fav. Still play. I also run marathons now and do a lot of sports that require swimming, like surfing and wakeboarding. Hated soccer, but founded my school's soccer team as an excuse to flirt w/cute boys.I cheered in middle school but was the token white girl and the parents made me quit in hs. I do love me some booty dancin now.[Edited on November 29, 2009 at 7:10 PM. Reason : .]

11/29/2009 7:11:50 PM
Swim team my freshman and sophomore year.I was in marching band very briefly, but due to various issues I quit in short order. I stayed in concert band all four years, though. I was alright, but could have been significantly better had I ever bothered to practice. I also did a couple of years of quiz bowl, but I was mainly second string. These aren't really sports, though.[Edited on November 29, 2009 at 7:12 PM. Reason : blah]

11/29/2009 7:15:08 PM
Soccer freshman & sophmore year (also played on the rec dept's girls' travelling soccer team the 3 summers fr-jr year); then I pulled my hamstring trying out for the dance team my junior year and missed soccer tryouts...didn't return after that.Dance team sophmore-senior year. I danced from the age of 3 until I was 21. In college I took classes at The Broadway Dance Project in Raleigh which was awesome and kept my basics. I can tell I haven't done a damn thing in 5 years now though.Drama club (which everyone was in for the most part) sophmore - senior year...I was a dancer in a few plays, but otherwise just helped raise money for the set construction and production. Anchor Club (girls club and we did a lot of volunteer work) soph-senior year.National Honor Society jr & sr year (secretary sr year).Art Club soph-sr year. I haven't painted anything since I was 22 :-/
11/29/2009 7:21:05 PM
famous soccer player, you probably heard about me
11/29/2009 7:21:29 PM
No sports, was in Scouts, made Eagle, am not involved with the organization due to lack of my own kids nor any real desire to have any kids of my own and/or be responsible for, and was a totally mediocre hiker & knot tier.
11/29/2009 7:23:44 PM
Basketball - I was a good shooter, but never grew big enough to have a major impact.I did have all the inbounds 3-point plays drawn up for me though. I only played two years in high school because I liked a different winter sport more. I play for fun still and still hold my own against pretty good competition.Hockey - Played my JR and SR years of high school. It was my favorite sport to play. I was a really good skater but never really developed a great shot. Second liner at best, but still had a blast. Haven't played at all in about seven years now.Baseball - I was very, very good. Four year starter at SS/2B, twice honorable mention all-state and was going to play in college before I busted up my elbow. I'm a shadow of how good I was now because my arm is so bad. I took three years off of playing any baseball/softball but just started getting back in to it again. It's the most frustrating sport for me to play because I know that I was once good but can't physically do what I used to be able to.[Edited on November 29, 2009 at 7:34 PM. Reason : x]

Volleyball, Basketball, Cross Country. All tall people sports ... and I was like 5 foot haha. I was asked to be on the guys wrestling team because they needed someone below or about 100 lbs - this was before I hit puberty. I declined.
