Bill Cowher will never coach that abortion of a teamin fact, I doubt any top tier coach would want to go to that shithole. the fucking team doesnt want to play in buffalo and will be going to canada soon, why would any big name coach want to go there?

^^^"According to the source, Cowher told the Bills he wants to wait until the season ends before he starts interviewing for a job. Cowher is going to continue his broadcasting career and then see what's available after the season."Has nothing to do with the Bills, he'd turn down an offer from any team at this point...Also, from http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2009/11/23/nfl-com-bills-contact-cowher/"But citing a source LaCanfora reports that Cowher is more interested in returning to coaching this offseason than any other previous one since he left the Steelers in 2006."Shit yeah he is. I found his address in the Wake County Property Tax database, going to send him a fruit basket to sweeten the deal.
11/24/2009 12:07:54 PM
if he really wanted the bills job, he wouldve taken it. its obvious he doesnt and was trying not to sound like an ass when he said no.it sounds to me like he is holding onto hope that John Fox gets fired this offseason so he can coach the Panthers. I could see him either going there or Cleveland, but I would bet he'd go to Carolina.
11/24/2009 12:17:45 PM
Marc Trestman is currently being carried by Adrian McPherson. TAKE THE UNDER ON ALOUETTES GAMES
11/24/2009 12:22:47 PM
^^ I agree with you on that. He's clearly holding out to sort his options. He doesn't "really" want the Bills job, but he's not outright saying no either. He's in broadcasting right now and is waiting around to see what comes next his way.I'd say Buffalo has as much of a chance as the Cleve. If Carolina even got a whiff that he was interested in being there, they'd fire Fox yesterday.
11/24/2009 1:03:27 PM
Maybe I'm pulling this out of left field, but after 15 years in Pittsburgh, do you think he would rather coach in Buffalo or Cleveland or another cold weather city, or would he prefer a warmer climate team, like the Panthers or perhaps Dallas?^nah Big Cat doesn't fire coaches midseason just for being 4-6 and hoping another coach is available...after the season? sure, but not during[Edited on November 24, 2009 at 1:23 PM. Dear Coach Cowher, Plz to coach the Redskins. I know Dan Snyder sucks and you don't want to deal with him and we don't have that much talent offensively and we have the worst salary cap in the history of the world and we suck. But Plz. Thxu [Edited on November 24, 2009 at 1:29 PM. Reason : ]

well Bill Cowher played for and got his first job in coaching with the Browns. and, according to many people in cleveland, Bill has said in the past that he wouldnt mind coaching there. As an admitted Browns fan I've heard plenty of rumors from my family who still live up there, I dont buy the hype and dont think he'll be going up there. If the Browns weren't such bitter rivals with the Steelers I think he would have them towards the top of his list.as far as Carolina goes, I've heard that he has been in Charlotte a lot over the last year or so doing community service type stuff around the city. I definitely could see him coaching there next year. With that said, I dont think there's any way he goes to Buffalo, and I definitely dont think that Buffalo has as good a chance of landing him as Cleveland based on his history there. I think Carolina is the frontrunner for cowher, Cleveland would be second, the Redskins might be third
11/24/2009 1:34:05 PM
Redskins definitely are in the pool, I'm glad you mentioned them. I'd also like to submit the following interesting take on this...http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Cowher-isnt-shuffling-off-to-Buffalo.html
11/24/2009 3:48:14 PM
Damn that was fucked up he wouldn't even agree to an interview. He's now spurned two of my teams, the other being NC State of course.

Anyone who interviews with the bills(shanahan) is doing so just to fetch a higher price for a better job(dallas, chicago) i think.
11/25/2009 7:46:29 PM
I don't know how accurate this is, but I heard the panthers are going to hire either cowher, gruden, or shanahan this offseason.

LOL @ Chan Gaileygreat hire
1/19/2010 11:45:57 AM
Terrible hire. Chan Gailey will never sniff the playoffs. He was fired by the Chiefs as their OC at the beginning of the season because the Chiefs offense was fucking horrible. Now he's going to run the Bills? Fuck me.

Gailey? Wow that is just dumb. Dude could not even cut it at a mid-tier ACC school, much less the NFL (yeah I know he coached the Cowboys once too, but he sucked then as well). Might as well just have hired Chuck, he had about as much success in college as Gailey.
