Fuck you. Ok? Fuck. You. I am sick of your shit. I'd really like to see a good game at 1PM today. The Bengals/Ravens game would be ideal. I'd even settle for the Colts/Texans game, even though I never thought those words would come from my mouth. Do I get to see either of these promising match-ups? No. No I don't. Instead, I get another fucking Patriots game shoved down my throat. Super. Granted, you aren't solely responsible for this, but you're still at fault. The first SIX weeks of the season, our market got the following games: NE/BUF, NE/NYJ, ATL/NE, BAL/NE, NE/DEN, and TEN/NE. In fact, the only two weekends we were fortunate enough NOT to see New England play, they were in London frapping the Bucs, and at home on their Bye week. But nooooo. Here we are again, Week 9 getting another Patriots game. HELLLLOOO! MCFLY!!!! WE ARE NO WHERE NEAR NEW ENGLAND! You are aware there are some other teams in the AFC, right? In fact, there are about 9 other AFC teams closer to our market than New England. Get your shit together and stop this. There is still time. -Sayer

signed.except I have the bal/cin game here. I know what you mean, though. Look at the TV Map and you'll see that almost the entire western half of the country gets the ne/mia game.
11/8/2009 10:29:02 AM
i actually looked through CBS's website to see if I could figure out where to send an email. Got disgruntled and decided to vent here instead.
11/8/2009 10:33:51 AM
thanks for this post, I felt the exact same way when I looked at the map today
11/8/2009 11:03:07 AM
CBS is a "free" channel, right? in other words, a channel you don't have to pay extra in order to watch
11/8/2009 11:18:45 AM
NE/Buf was on MNF not cbs[Edited on November 8, 2009 at 11:42 AM. Reason : ]
11/8/2009 11:41:30 AM
and ATL/NE was on fox
11/8/2009 11:45:29 AM
If it makes you feel any better. I have the Sunday Ticket with Superfan and will be watching the Bengals vs. Ravens. I can't wait.Sorry.
11/8/2009 11:54:31 AM
i believe the local station picks the game if there is no local game. so, its wral's fault.
11/8/2009 12:03:07 PM
I'm with sayer here. The local game selections have been absolutely piss poor the last few weeks. I
11/8/2009 12:54:58 PM
Fuck Yeah!
11/8/2009 12:56:25 PM
How long has the O.P. lived around here? You should have come to terms with the fact that the teams we get each week are the Panthers, the Steelers, the Patriots and at least two NFC East teams. That's just how it works around here.

$7 for NFL redzone on dish network is instantly worth it as soon as you get screwed on the 2nd 1PM game.
11/8/2009 8:46:18 PM
They'll be on NBC next week. But CBS is still giving us an inferior game IMO. (Denver-Washington instead of Cincinnati-Pittsburgh)
11/9/2009 5:56:14 AM
11/9/2009 7:30:56 AM
Dear CBS,Why the fuck are you showing the WAS/DEN game? The best 1PM match-up is the Steelers and the Bengals. Why are you showing a match-up featuring a team that has lost it's last 2 straight, and one of the worst teams in the league? You are fucking retarded, yet again.
11/15/2009 1:00:38 PM
^^
11/15/2009 1:01:51 PM
oh i'm sorry, is wral not a cbs station?
11/15/2009 1:04:09 PM
WRAL is an affiliate of CBS, yesWRAL is not CBS
11/15/2009 1:06:00 PM
no but they're showing cbs's coverage of nfl football, it's not wral's coverage of the football gameso thank you for being a pretentious douchebag and splitting hairs, but even past the minute technicalities, you still can understand what I'm talking about
11/15/2009 1:10:12 PM
WRAL is not CBS
11/15/2009 1:15:08 PM
newsflashyou live in/near a market where the redskins were the most popular team before the panthers and still have many fans in the area
11/15/2009 1:24:58 PM
11/15/2009 1:25:53 PM
I thought maybe we were just misunderstanding one another. Then I looked up and saw this.
11/15/2009 1:27:07 PM
The network is the ultimate decider in which games get shown where, not the local affiliates. Affiliates can request specific games, but they are at the discretion of the actual network.
11/15/2009 9:16:59 PM
I was under the impression the affiliate could pretty much pull down whatever feed they wanted, as long as there aren't contract issues (like the NFL's gay blackout rules). I feel like WRAL has told CBS where to stick it a few times in regards to what basketball games to show.
11/15/2009 9:53:42 PM
I really don't think the affiliates choose. Otherwise the coverage maps would be so sporadic with different games instead of regions being dominated by one game.
11/15/2009 9:55:56 PM
Haha, its not like they're going to bother to go out and ask each station which one they're planning to show and then build the coverage map. The coverage map would just tell you what the normal feed would be for that region.
11/15/2009 10:02:48 PM
Go look at coverage maps week for week. If local alliliates can choose which game they want, then the maps would be a checkerboard clusterfuck of different games shown. They're not. They're extremely uniform. The networks choose which games are shown where.
11/15/2009 11:04:17 PM
11/15/2009 11:29:05 PM
The networks on the national level choose what games to show where, not the local affiliates.

And thanks again to CBS, we will be seeing yet another New England game this weekend. This makes 9 out of 11 weeks we've had a Patriots game aired in our market, the second most behind the Panthers. OH BUT WAIT! If you don't get the NFL Network like a vast majoring of people in NC, then you didn't even see tonight's game! So at this point, a team 1100 miles away from us has the same number of broadcasts in our area as our home fucking team?! SERIOUSLY?!?!And a preemptive fuck-u-very-much to the NFL for scheduling NE for back to back Mon/Sun night games, there-by force-feeding us all two more weeks of this team. At least we can hold out hope that the NFL exercises the flex schedule for that Sunday game and changes it to a different match-up. Thanks for the variety.Fucking Awesome

this REALLY is shitty. Jets/Pats instead of the game of the week Chargers/Broncos for the lead of the AFC west?Garbage.
11/20/2009 10:29:50 AM
Are they seriously showing Pats Fags V. Jets instead of the AFC West rivalry match up Broncos v Chargers. Fuck CBS. Half the time on Sunday they get lazy and do not show a 4pm game anyway; just to air Celebrity Dancing 10 or some garbage.Perhaps I will not even watch football Sunday since the Panthers played in the retarted NFL network Thursday game

I have Sunday Ticket w/ Superfan. I will be watching all other games outside of the Patriots. You should know this.
11/20/2009 12:37:33 PM
11/20/2009 12:46:20 PM
I can't wait for the day that people realize that the networks can only show 3 games per sunday
11/20/2009 12:47:06 PM
^^It's HUR, he doesn't understand just about everything he rants about on TWW.^I think most people do understand that. We would just prefer not to be forcefed the fucking AFC East every goddamn week. Here are the CBS AFC games that have aired locally over the last few weeks and the games they could have played and most of us (I would argue most NFL fans) would have prefered.Week 9 MIA v NE over a key Cinc v Bal game. Hell I would have rather watched Indy v Houston tooWeek 10Denver v Wash over Cincy v PittWeek 11NE v Jets over SD v Den[Edited on November 20, 2009 at 1:05 PM. Reason : d]
11/20/2009 12:47:38 PM
The only people who don't understand are the asshats sitting up in their skyscraper in NYC at the CBS HQ. Dear CBSJust b.c some of your buddies moved down to NC to be yankee transplants does not mean we ALL want to watch the fucking NY/NE teams every weekend. In fact people down here hate the north and do not share in your fondness for cheaters like Bill Billichek (new england) or any team from New York. Thanks HURIf anything i'd say there are more Broncos fans than Pats fans down here.
11/20/2009 12:52:19 PM
I hope you didn't actually send that. Jesus Christ you are a moron.
