In no particular order:1. Silver Train2. Star Star (aka "Starfucker")3. Sway4. Dead Flowers5. Sister Morphine6. Salt Of the Earth7. She's A RainbowI don't think any of those songs are on any of the major greatest hits compilations, and I'm not sure I've ever heard any of them on the radio, save ONE time when I heard Sway. (Maybe I've heard Silver Train or Dead Flowers once, but I don't remember it).[Edited on November 3, 2009 at 2:47 PM. Reason : ]

3, 4, and 5 are in my top five stones songs, but I would never consider any of them to be obscure stones songs. then again, I grew up listening to the stones on vinyl and cassette instead of on the radio.[Edited on November 3, 2009 at 2:42 PM. Reason : all on the sticky fingers album, which was a greatest hits album in its own right]

How did you pick She's a Rainbow? Everything on Their Satanic Majesties Request was way too psychedelic for my tastes.FWIW, Goats Head Soup is an extremely underrated album.

^^ Yeah, it might be my favorite Stones song. Dead Flowers and Can't You Hear Me Knocking are way up there too, though.^^^^ Yeah, not my favorite album, but it is a good song that a lot of people don't know...and yeah, Goat's Head Soup is a great one. I have a vinyl copy of it (along with It's Only Rock & Roll and Some Girls, and a couple of older live albums).[Edited on November 3, 2009 at 3:35 PM. Reason : ^ sweet]

I would imagine a lot of people would know the song She's a Rainbow as it was used for one of the original iMac commercials that aired ad nauseum. I would through in Love in Vain. (really everyone should have the Let It Bleed album at arm's reach at all times.)

"2000 Man" was a great song on Satanic Majesties, though it always makes me think of the end of Bottle Rocket. The lyrics are oddly prophetic as well.^ "You Got the Silver" is a great track.[Edited on November 6, 2009 at 3:48 PM. Reason : .]
