Who's got some insight on this one? Or should I just go the Hondata route?

You would probably have to swap in a K20 ECU to do anything. I can't see how this could cost any less than $1500...

http://www.boomslang.us/extension.htm

You would want to get a jumper harness and either cut/splice or repin. There may be other sensors and such that need to be swapped as well. The real question is whether the K24 ecu plugs are the same as the K20 even though the pinout I'm sure is not. I'm pretty sure the Kpro can mask DTC's if it's just some minor differences in emissions controls throwing a code.

I would call Boomslang up and ask them if the connectors are different between your car and the early model RSX's. Also search various Honda forums about what may be involved.

Maybe I should replace the spark plugs first. They're the original ones...with 150k miles on 'em.

In truth, iridium plugs oughta last longer than that as long as the insulator to plug boss seal holds up. I'm just so lazy when it comes to my own shit.
