I am offering house cleaning and/or ironing services week nights, as well as on the weekends if needed. I realize this is a college message board but there are plenty of young professionals in the tww community that could benefit from these services. Also, if you're moving in or out of a residence and simply don't have to time to clean it yourself I could be of help to you.If you are within a 30 minute drive of Garner and are interested in one or both of these services, please feel free to PM me.CLEANING RATES (based on average size residence)Initial Fee/One Time - $60Weekly - $20/weekBi-Weekly - $30/weekMonthly - $50/monthprices vary for larger homes and businessesIRONING RATES (by the basket or by the garment)$25 per basketor$2/shirt $1.50/pants$.75/smaller items or children's clothes[Edited on October 1, 2009 at 9:36 AM. Is there a rate for laundry?
10/1/2009 1:26:15 PM
I haven't really thought about actually doing laundry but I could definitely do that.It would depend if it was just doing laundry or doing laundry combined with ironing &/or cleaning.Right off hand I would say $10/load...with special consideration if it's a very small load since some things need to be washed separately. If it's done while cleaning it would be less since I wouldn't be using my power/water/products. If it's done combined with ironing it would be less since I would already have the laundry in my possession and wouldn't be making a special trip.

the prices for weekly/biweekly/monthly - how long do you have to sign up for those to apply?
10/1/2009 1:52:00 PM
8 years.Prepaid.
10/1/2009 1:53:43 PM
It's based on a month at a time.If you only want me to clean once it'll cost the same as the first time I clean....$60.It'll take me longer to clean the very first time regardless of how many times I come back.If you want me to clean for the next 3 weeks in the month it's $20/visit....if you want me to clean once more that month it's $30/visit....and if you don't want me to come back until the next month it's $50/visit.[Edited on October 1, 2009 at 2:14 PM. Reason : ^i like the way you think...but i wouldn't get much business that way ]

10/1/2009 4:32:16 PM
the Merriam-Webster online dictionary gives the meaning of bi-weekly as 1) happening twice a week or 2) happening every two weeks
10/1/2009 4:37:45 PM
^^bi-monthly would mean every two months.
