I have a client that uses network scanning on the reg. The software is interfaced with outlook and you can drag your pdfs and jpgs to the email icon and it obviously opens up new mail window. However, when you click send it throws it into the Outbox and will not send until you open Outlook again. I'm sure this is by design and I can see how bypassing this might open the floodgates for infected spam robots, but is there anyway to automatically send the email? All the usual stuff is checked. Send mail immediately, schedule a send/receive 3-5 minutes while connected and while offline. For us, this is not an issue because I'm sure 99% of people keep outlook minimized to the tray all day long and I told the person to do this, but they're not the most tech savvy and the mail client always gets closed. I think I read a blurb that Outlook Express supports this feature so if anyone can confirm that before I export/import that would be A+.I assume switching from POP to IMAP would not make a difference because SMTP is the outbound protocol.Thoughts?

Confirmed - Outlook Express will do this. Still curious though.
