^once people get on these programs they just cant seem to alter much less revoke them. Look at SS and Medicare which are totally unsustainable, yet any attempt to alter either just isnt politically feasible. Medicare alone has 30 TRILLION dollars in unfunded liablities. So why not trust the govt with the rest of our health care, they have a great track record of managing the programs they have already.

I only eat out at taco bell, and that's maybe once every 4 months. Completely different that the fat mofos that waddle into McDs every day. As an occasional treat it's fine. Like other idiot american, you do not understand that excess is bad.

IMO you should have to be below a certain % bodyfat to eat fast food. Keep the fatties away from the whoppers and they won't be fatties for too much longer.

I grew up on welfare and have lived under the poverty line since I was 18. My thought that healthcare is a privilege just makes me a bigger badass than most conservatives.

It's simple economics, really. With government healthcare, there is no incentive for people to take care of themselves, so healthcare costs will just keep inflating and eventually the system will implode.

A better system would be mandatory healthcare, run by private industry, while also disbanding the employer-provided coverage, effectively ending that cartel. The best company would be the one who provides incentives for people who stay healthy.

Even as a member of this category, I still say healthcare is a privilege. Mental services would vastly improve the quality of my life, as well as my productivity, but I didn't get a priori access to these services when I was a kid and there's no way to change the past.
