I don't feel like doing it myself with one of those kits.

WHen we moved in...I just took them to True Value in the shopping center up the road. It was less than 20 dollars for all 3.

I second the vote for TrueValue. I used the TrueValue on Hope Valley Road. But make sure you call first before bringing them in. They only have one guy who does it and he doesn't work everyday.

do you really wanna go cheap with lock services in DURHAM?

Yeah. It's just changing pins. It's not like paying more will matter.

If I lived in Durham, I'd go with the steel drawbridge option instead of the standard door.

^4 I had one of those. It was great except the key pad eventually wore down, and it became a pain in the ass to unlock the door. I had a regular key option lock as well so I usually used that and never locked the deadbolt.OH...and of course there was the one day I did lock my keys in the house and the deadbolt was engaged. I called 5 locksmiths. All 5, when I described the lock to them, said they would not come unlock my house and wouldn't be able to even if they did.[Edited on September 7, 2009 at 8:05 PM. Reason : ]
